If You, O LORD, kept track of iniquities, then who, O Lord, could stand?

Lakini kwako kuna msamaha, Ili Wewe uogopwe.
But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be feared.

Nimemngoja Bwana, roho yangu imengoja, Na neno lake nimelitumainia.
I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.

Nafsi yangu inamngoja Bwana, Kuliko walinzi waingojavyo asubuhi, Naam, walinzi waingojao asubuhi.
My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning—more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Ee Israeli, umtarajie Bwana; Maana kwa Bwana kuna fadhili, Na kwake kuna ukombozi mwingi.
O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is loving devotion, and with Him is redemption in abundance.

Yeye atamkomboa Israeli na maovu yake yote.
And He will redeem Israel from all iniquity.
