Ee Mungu, uniokoe, Maana maji yamefika mpaka nafsini mwangu. Zaburi 69:1

> Save me, God, For the waters have come up to my neck!

Ninazama katika matope mengi, Pasipowezekana kusimama. Nimefika penye maji ya vilindi, Mkondo wa maji unanigharikisha. Zaburi 69:2

I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

Nimechoka kwa kulia kwangu, Koo yangu imekauka. Macho yangu yamedhoofu Kwa kumngoja Mungu wangu. Zaburi 69:3

I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

Wanaonichukia bure ni wengi Kuliko nywele za kichwa changu. Watakao kunikatilia mbali wamekuwa hodari, Adui zangu kwa sababu isiyo kweli. Hata mimi nalilipishwa kwa nguvu Vitu nisivyovichukua. Zaburi 69:4

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn't take away.

Ee Mungu, unajua upumbavu wangu, Wala hukufichwa dhambi yangu. Zaburi 69:5

God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren't hidden from you.

Wanaokungoja Wewe wasiaibishwe, Kwa ajili yangu, Bwana, MUNGU wa majeshi. Wanaokutafuta Wewe wasifedheheshwe, Kwa ajili yangu, Ee Mungu wa Israeli. Zaburi 69:6

Don't let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Hosts. Don't let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.

Maana kwa ajili yako nimestahimili laumu, Fedheha imenifunika uso wangu. Zaburi 69:7

Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.

Nimekuwa mgeni kwa ndugu zangu, Na msikwao kwa wana wa mama yangu. Zaburi 69:8

I have become a stranger to my brothers, An alien to my mother's children.

Maana wivu wa nyumba yako umenila, Na laumu zao wanaokulaumu zimenipata. Zaburi 69:9

For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

Nilipolia na kuiadhibu roho yangu kwa kufunga, Ikawa laumu juu yangu. Zaburi 69:10

When I wept and I fasted, That was to my reproach.

Nilipofanya gunia kuwa nguo zangu, Nikawa mithali kwao. Zaburi 69:11

When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.

Waketio langoni hunisema, Na nyimbo za walevi hunidhihaki. Zaburi 69:12

Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.

Nami maombi yangu nakuomba Wewe, Bwana, Wakati ukupendezao; Ee Mungu, Kwa wingi wa fadhili zako unijibu, Katika kweli ya wokovu wako. Zaburi 69:13

But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.

Uniponye kwa kunitoa matopeni, Wala usiniache nikazama. Na niponywe nao wanaonichukia, Na katika vilindi vya maji. Zaburi 69:14

Deliver me out of the mire, and don't let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Mkondo usinigharikishe, wala vilindi visinimeze, Wala shimo lisifumbe kinywa chake juu yangu. Zaburi 69:15

Don't let the flood waters overwhelm me, Neither let the deep swallow me up. Don't let the pit shut its mouth on me.

Ee Bwana, unijibu, maana fadhili zako ni njema, Kwa kadiri ya rehema zako unielekee. Zaburi 69:16

Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.

Wala usinifiche uso wako, mimi mtumishi wako, Maana mimi nimo taabuni, unijibu upesi. Zaburi 69:17

Don't hide your face from your servant, For I am in distress. Answer me speedily!

Uikaribie nafsi yangu, uikomboe, Kwa sababu ya adui zangu unifidie. Zaburi 69:18

Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.

Wewe umejua kulaumiwa kwangu, Na kuaibika na kufedheheka kwangu, Mbele zako Wewe wako watesi wangu wote. Zaburi 69:19

You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.

Laumu imenivunja moyo, Nami ninaugua sana. Nikangoja aje wa kunihurumia, wala hakuna; Na wa kunifariji, wala sikumwona mtu. Zaburi 69:20

Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; For comforters, but I found none.

Wakanipa uchungu kuwa chakula changu; Nami nilipokuwa na kiu wakaninywesha siki. Zaburi 69:21

They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.

Meza yao mbele yao na iwe mtego; Naam, wakiwa salama na iwe tanzi. Zaburi 69:22

Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.

Macho yao yatiwe giza wasione, Na viuno vyao uvitetemeshe daima. Zaburi 69:23

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can't see. Let their backs be continually bent.

Uimwage ghadhabu yako juu yao, Na ukali wa hasira yako uwapate. Zaburi 69:24

Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.

Matuo yao na yawe ukiwa, Pasiwe na mtu wa kukaa hemani mwao. Zaburi 69:25

Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.

Maana wanamwudhi mtu uliyempiga Wewe, Wanasimulia maumivu ya hao uliowatia jeraha. Zaburi 69:26

For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.

Uwaongezee uovu juu ya uovu, Wala wasiingie katika haki yako. Zaburi 69:27

Charge them with crime upon crime. Don't let them come into your righteousness.

Na wafutwe katika chuo cha uhai, Wala pamoja na wenye haki wasiandikwe. Zaburi 69:28

Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.

Nami niliye maskini na mtu wa huzuni, Mungu, wokovu wako utaniinua. Zaburi 69:29

But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.

Nitalisifu jina la Mungu kwa wimbo, Nami nitamtukuza kwa shukrani. Zaburi 69:30

I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Nayo yatampendeza Bwana kuliko ng'ombe, Au ndama mwenye pembe na kwato. Zaburi 69:31

It will please Yahweh better than an ox, Or a bull that has horns and hoofs.

Walioonewa watakapoona watafurahi; Enyi mmtafutao Mungu, mioyo yenu ihuishwe. Zaburi 69:32

The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.

Kwa kuwa Bwana huwasikia wahitaji, Wala hawadharau wafungwa wake. Zaburi 69:33

For Yahweh hears the needy, And doesn't despise his captive people.

Mbingu na nchi zimsifu, Bahari na vyote viendavyo ndani yake. Zaburi 69:34

Let heaven and earth praise him; The seas, and everything that moves therein!

Maana Mungu ataiokoa Sayuni, na kuijenga miji ya Yuda, Na watu watakaa ndani yake na kuimiliki. Zaburi 69:35

For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.

Wazao wa watumishi wake watairithi, Nao walipendao jina lake watakaa humo. Zaburi 69:36

The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
