Wewe, Bwana, umekuwa makao yetu, Kizazi baada ya kizazi. Zaburi 90:1	> Lord, you have been our dwelling place for all generations.
Kabla haijazaliwa milima, wala hujaiumba dunia, Na tangu milele hata milele ndiwe Mungu. Zaburi 90:2	Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever you had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
Wamrudisha mtu mavumbini, usemapo, Rudini, enyi wanadamu. Zaburi 90:3	You turn man to destruction, saying, "Return, you children of men."
Maana miaka elfu machoni pako Ni kama siku ya jana ikiisha kupita, Na kama kesha la usiku. Zaburi 90:4	For a thousand years in your sight Are but as yesterday when it is past, As a watch in the night.
Wawagharikisha, huwa kama usingizi, Asubuhi huwa kama majani yameayo. Zaburi 90:5	You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
Asubuhi yachipuka na kumea, Jioni yakatika na kukauka. Zaburi 90:6	In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.
Maana tumetoweshwa kwa hasira yako, Na kwa ghadhabu yako tumefadhaishwa. Zaburi 90:7	For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.
Umeyaweka maovu yetu mbele zako, Siri zetu katika mwanga wa uso wako. Zaburi 90:8	You have set our iniquities before you, Our secret sins in the light of your presence.
Maana siku zetu zote zimepita katika hasira yako, Tumetowesha miaka yetu kama kite. Zaburi 90:9	For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
Siku za miaka yetu ni miaka sabini, Na ikiwa tuna nguvu miaka themanini; Na kiburi chake ni taabu na ubatili, Maana chapita upesi tukatokomea mara. Zaburi 90:10	The days of our years are seventy, Or even by reason of strength eighty years; Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, For it passes quickly, and we fly away.
Ni nani aujuaye uweza wa hasira yako? Na ghadhabu yako kama ipasavyo kicho chako? Zaburi 90:11	Who knows the power of your anger, Your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
Basi, utujulishe kuzihesabu siku zetu, Tujipatie moyo wa hekima. Zaburi 90:12	So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Ee Bwana urudi, hata lini? Uwahurumie watumishi wako. Zaburi 90:13	Relent, Yahweh! How long? Have compassion on your servants!
Utushibishe asubuhi kwa fadhili zako, Nasi tutashangilia na kufurahi siku zetu zote. Zaburi 90:14	Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Utufurahishe kwa kadiri ya siku ulizotutesa, Kama miaka ile tuliyoona mabaya. Zaburi 90:15	Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, For as many years as we have seen evil.
Matendo yako na yaonekane kwa watumishi wako, Na adhama yako kwa watoto wao. Zaburi 90:16	Let your work appear to your servants; Your glory to their children.
Na uzuri wa Bwana, Mungu wetu, uwe juu yetu, Na kazi ya mikono yetu utufanyie thabiti, Naam, kazi ya mikono yetu uithibitishe. Zaburi 90:17	Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; Establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.
