Bwana ndiye aijengaye Yerusalemu, Huwakusanya waliotawanyika wa Israeli.
Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
Huwaponya waliopondeka moyo, Na kuziganga jeraha zao.
He heals the broken in heart, And binds up their wounds.
Huihesabu idadi ya nyota, Huzipa zote majina.
He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
Bwana wetu ni mkuu na mwingi wa nguvu, Akili zake hazina mpaka.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
Bwana huwategemeza wenye upole, Huwaangusha chini wenye jeuri.
Yahweh upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
Mwimbieni Bwana kwa kushukuru, Mwimbieni Mungu wetu kwa kinubi.
Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God,
Huzifunika mbingu kwa mawingu, Huitengenezea nchi mvua, Na kuyameesha majani milimani.
Who covers the sky with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass grow on the mountains.
Humpa mnyama chakula chake, Wana-kunguru waliao.
He provides food for the cattle, And for the young ravens when they call.
Hapendezwi na nguvu za farasi, Wala hairidhii miguu ya mtu.
He doesn't delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
Bwana huwaridhia wao wamchao, Na kuzitarajia fadhili zake.
Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, In those who hope in his loving kindness.
Msifu Bwana, Ee Yerusalemu; Msifu Mungu wako, Ee Sayuni.
Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!
Maana ameyakaza mapingo ya malango yako, Amewabariki wanao ndani yako.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
Ndiye afanyaye amani mipakani mwako, Akushibishaye kwa unono wa ngano.
He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
Huipeleka amri yake juu ya nchi, Neno lake lapiga mbio sana.
He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
Ndiye atoaye theluji kama sufu, Huimwaga barafu yake kama majivu,
He gives snow like wool, And scatters frost like ashes.
Hutupa mvua ya mawe kama makombo, Mbele ya baridi yake ni nani awezaye kusimama?
He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
Hulituma neno lake na kuviyeyusha, Huuvumisha upepo wake, maji yakatiririka.
He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Humhubiri Yakobo neno lake, Na Israeli amri zake na hukumu zake.
He shows his word to Jacob; His statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
Hakulitendea taifa lo lote mambo kama hayo, Wala hukumu zake hawakuzijua. Haleluya.
He has not done this for just any nation. They don't know his ordinances. Praise Yah!
