Nitamhimidi Bwana kila wakati, Sifa zake zi kinywani mwangu daima. Zaburi 34:1

> I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

Katika Bwana nafsi yangu itajisifu, Wanyenyekevu wasikie wakafurahi. Zaburi 34:2

My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.

Mtukuzeni Bwana pamoja nami, Na tuliadhimishe jina lake pamoja. Zaburi 34:3

Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.

Nalimtafuta Bwana akanijibu, Akaniponya na hofu zangu zote. Zaburi 34:4

I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.

Wakamwelekea macho wakatiwa nuru, Wala nyuso zao hazitaona haya. Zaburi 34:5

They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

Maskini huyu aliita, Bwana akasikia, Akamwokoa na taabu zake zote. Zaburi 34:6

This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

Malaika wa Bwana hufanya kituo, Akiwazungukia wamchao na kuwaokoa. Zaburi 34:7

The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them.

Onjeni mwone ya kuwa Bwana yu mwema; Heri mtu yule anayemtumaini. Zaburi 34:8

Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Mcheni Bwana, enyi watakatifu wake, Yaani, wamchao hawahitaji kitu. Zaburi 34:9

Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, For there is no lack with those who fear him.

Wana-simba hutindikiwa, huona njaa; Bali wamtafutao Bwana hawatahitaji kitu cho chote kilicho chema. Zaburi 34:10

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.

Njoni, enyi wana, mnisikilize, Nami nitawafundisha kumcha Bwana. Zaburi 34:11

Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

Ni nani mtu yule apendezwaye na uzima, Apendaye siku nyingi apate kuona mema? Zaburi 34:12

Who is someone who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?

Uuzuie ulimi wako na mabaya, Na midomo yako na kusema hila. Zaburi 34:13

Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking lies.

Uache mabaya ukatende mema, Utafute amani ukaifuatie. Zaburi 34:14

Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

Macho ya Bwana huwaelekea wenye haki, Na masikio yake hukielekea kilio chao. Zaburi 34:15

Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

Uso wa Bwana ni juu ya watenda mabaya, Aliondoe kumbukumbu lao duniani. Zaburi 34:16

Yahweh's face is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Walilia, naye Bwana akasikia, Akawaponya na taabu zao zote. Zaburi 34:17

The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Bwana yu karibu nao waliovunjika moyo, Na waliopondeka roho huwaokoa. Zaburi 34:18

Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Mateso ya mwenye haki ni mengi, Lakini Bwana humponya nayo yote. Zaburi 34:19

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

Huihifadhi mifupa yake yote, Haukuvunjika hata mmoja. Zaburi 34:20

He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

Uovu utamwua asiye haki, Nao wamchukiao mwenye haki watahukumiwa. Zaburi 34:21

Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

Bwana huzikomboa nafsi za watumishi wake, Wala hawatahukumiwa wote wamkimbiliao. Zaburi 34:22

Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
