Neno la Bwana likanijia, kusema,
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Mwanadamu, uwaelekezee wana wa Amoni uso wako, ukatabiri juu yao.
“Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites and prophesy against them.

Uwaambie hao wana wa Amoni, Lisikieni neno la Bwana MUNGU; Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Kwa sababu umesema, Aha! Juu ya patakatifu pangu, palipotiwa unajisi; na juu ya nchi ya Israeli, ilipoharibiwa; na juu ya nyumba ya Israeli, walipokwenda kifungoni;
Tell the Ammonites to hear the word of the Lord GOD, for this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you exclaimed, “Aha!” when My sanctuary was profaned, when the land of Israel was laid waste, and when the house of Judah went into exile,

basi, kwa sababu hiyo, nitakutia katika mikono ya wana wa mashariki uwe milki yao, nao wataweka marago yao ndani yako, kufanya maskani zao ndani yako; watakula matunda yako, na kunywa maziwa yako.
therefore I will indeed give you as a possession to the people of the East. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.

Nami nitafanya Raba kuwa banda la ngamia, na wana wa Amoni kuwa mahali pa kulaza makundi; nanyi mtajua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana.
I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and Ammon a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’

Maana Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Kwa sababu umepiga makofi, na kupiga mshindo kwa miguu yako, na kufurahi juu ya nchi ya Israeli, jeuri yote ya roho yako;
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you clapped your hands and stomped your feet and rejoiced over the land of Israel with a heart full of contempt,

basi, tazama, nimenyosha mkono wangu juu yako, nami nitakutoa uwe mateka ya mataifa; nami nitakukatilia mbali na kabila za watu, nami nitakuangamiza, usiwe katika nchi hizo; nitakukomesha; nawe utajua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana.
therefore I will indeed stretch out My hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the LORD.’

Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Kwa sababu Moabu na Seiri husema, Tazama, nyumba ya Israeli ni sawasawa na mataifa yote;
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because Moab and Seir said, “Look, the house of Judah is like all the other nations,”

basi, tazama, nitawafunulia wana wa mashariki ubavu wa Moabu toka miji yake, toka miji yake iliyo mipakani mwake, utukufu wa nchi hiyo, Beth-yeshimothi, na Baal-meoni, na Kiriathaimu,
therefore I will indeed expose the flank of Moab beginning with its frontier cities—Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim—the glory of the land.

pamoja na wana wa Amoni, nami nitawatoa kuwa milki, ili wana wa Amoni wasikumbukwe kati ya mataifa,
I will give it along with the Ammonites as a possession to the people of the East, so that the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations.

nami nitatoa hukumu juu ya Moabu; nao watajua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana.
So I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD.’

Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Kwa kuwa Edomu wametenda kinyume cha nyumba ya Yuda, kwa kujilipiza kisasi, nao wamekosa sana, na kujilipiza kisasi juu yao;
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because Edom acted vengefully against the house of Judah, and in so doing incurred grievous guilt,

kwa sababu hiyo, Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Nitanyosha mkono wangu juu ya Edomu, nitakatilia mbali nayo wanadamu na wanyama; nami nitaifanya kuwa ukiwa toka Temani; na mpaka Dedani wataanguka kwa upanga.
therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off from it both man and beast. I will make it a wasteland, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword.

Nami nitaweka kisasi changu juu ya Edomu, kwa mkono wa watu wangu Israeli; nao watatenda mambo katika Edomu, kwa kadiri ya hasira yangu, na ghadhabu yangu, nao watakijua kisasi changu, asema Bwana MUNGU.
I will take My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, and they will deal with Edom according to My anger and wrath. Then they will know My vengeance, declares the Lord GOD.’

Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Kwa kuwa Wafilisti wametenda mambo kwa kujilipiza kisasi, nao wamejilipiza kisasi kwa jeuri ya roho, ili kupaangamiza kwa uadui wa daima;
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because the Philistines acted in vengeance, taking vengeance with malice of soul to destroy Judah with ancient hostility,

kwa sababu hiyo, Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Tazama, nitanyosha mkono wangu juu ya Wafilisti, nami nitawakatilia mbali Wakerethi, na kuwaharibu wabakio pande za pwani.
therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant along the coast.

Nami nitajilipiza kisasi kikuu, nikiwakemea kwa ukali; nao watajua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana, nitakapojilipiza kisasi juu yao. </p>
I will execute great vengeance against them with furious reproof. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay My vengeance upon them.’”
