PaPi Clever and Dorcas are a married couple and gospel music duo based in Kigali, Rwanda, recognized as worship leaders, songwriters, and Christian music producers. The duo is known for blending modern Christian music with traditional African rhythms, creating a sound that reflects their ministry as ambassadors of the gospel in the Rwandan worship scene.
Papi Clever, born Tuyizere Papi Clever, began his professional music career in 2014. Together with Dorcas, he operates under the label Cledo Music. The duo frequently collaborates with pianist Merci Pianist, adding a rich instrumental layer to their recordings. Their work focuses on leading congregations in worship through original songs and albums designed to inspire faith.
The duo has released several albums, including Mwokozi Wetu (Nyimbo za wokovu), Ameniweka Huru Kweli (Nyimbo za wokovu), Pamoja Na Wewe, and Indirimbo zo mu Gitabo. They have also released singles such as “Msingi,” “Oooh Yesu,” and “Ni Heri Kuona Ndugu.” Through these releases, PaPi Clever and Dorcas continue to contribute to the gospel music community in Rwanda and beyond.
