Tena Daudi na maakida wa jeshi wakatenga kwa utumishi baadhi ya wana wa Asafu, na wa Hemani, na wa Yeduthuni, watakaotabiri kwa vinubi na vinanda, na matoazi; hii ndiyo hesabu ya wafanya kazi sawasawa na utumishi wao; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:1

 Moreover, David and the captains of the host set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of those who did the work according to their service was:

wa wana wa Asafu; Zakuri, na Yusufu, na Nethania, na Asharela, wana wa Asafu; walioamriwa na Asafu, aliyetabiri kwa amri ya mfalme. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:2

 of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king.

Wa Yeduthuni; wana wa Yeduthuni; Gedalia, na Seri, na Yeshaya, na Hashabia, na Matithia, [na Shimei], watu sita; walioamriwa na baba yao Yeduthuni mwenye kinubi, aliyetabiri katika kumshukuru na kumsifu Bwana. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:3

 Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh.

Wa Hemani; wana wa Hemani; Bukia, Matania, Uzieli, Shebueli, na Yeremothi, Hanania, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalti, na Romanti-ezeri, Yoshbekasha, Malothi, Hothiri, Mahaziothi; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:4

 Of Heman; the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

hao wote ndio wana wa Hemani, mwonaji wa mfalme, kwa maneno ya Mungu, ili kuinua pembe. Naye Mungu akampa Hemani wana kumi na wanne na binti watatu. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:5

 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Hao wote waliamriwa na baba yao, waimbe nyumbani mwa Bwana, wakiwa na matoazi, vinanda, na vinubi, kwa utumishi wa nyumba ya Mungu; Asafu, Yeduthuni, na Hemani wakiwa wanaamriwa na mfalme. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:6

 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Yahweh, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

Na hesabu yao, pamoja na ndugu zao waliofundishwa kumwimbia Bwana, wote waliokuwa wastadi, walikuwa mia mbili na themanini na wanane. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:7

 The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Yahweh, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.

Wakatupiwa kura ya ulinzi wao, sawasawa wote, mdogo kwa mkubwa, mwalimu kwa mwanafunzi. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:8

 They cast lots for their offices, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

Kura ya kwanza ikamtokea Yusufu, kwa Asafu; ya pili Gedalia; yeye na nduguze na wanawe, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:9

 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah; he and his brothers and sons were twelve:

ya tatu Zakuri, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:10

 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya nne Seri, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:11

 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya tano Nethania, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:12

 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya sita Bukia, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:13

 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya saba Asharela, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:14

 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya nane Yeshaya, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:15

 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kenda Matania wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:16

 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi Shimei, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:17

 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na moja Uzieli, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:18

 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na mbili Hashabia, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:19

 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na tatu Shebueli, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:20

 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na nne Matithia, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:21

 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na tano Yeremothi, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:22

 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na sita Hanania, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:23

 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na saba Yoshbekasha, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:24

 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na nane Hanani, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:25

 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya kumi na kenda Malothi, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:26

 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya ishirini Eliatha, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:27

 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya ishirini na moja Hothiri, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:28

 for the one and twentieth to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya ishirini na mbili Gidalti, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:29

 for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya ishirini na tatu Mahaziothi, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili; 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:30

 for the three and twentieth to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

ya ishirini na nne Romanti-ezeri, wanawe na nduguze, kumi na wawili. 1 Mambo ya Nyakati 25:31
