Je! Waweza wewe kumvua mamba kwa ndoana? Au, kuufunga ulimi wake kwa kamba? Ayabu 41:1

"Can you draw out Leviathan{Leviathan is a name for a crocodile or similar creature.} with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?

Je! Waweza kutia kamba puani mwake? Au kutoboa taya yake kwa kulabu? Ayabu 41:2

Can you put a rope into his nose? Or pierce his jaw through with a hook?

Je! Atakusihi sana? Au, atakuambia maneno ya upole? Ayabu 41:3

Will he make many petitions to you? Or will he speak soft words to you?

Je! Atafanya agano pamoja nawe, Umtwae kuwa mtumishi wako milele? Ayabu 41:4

Will he make a covenant with you, That you should take him for a servant forever?

Je! Utamchezea kama ndege? Au, kumfunga kwa ajili ya wasichana wako? Ayabu 41:5

Will you play with him as with a bird? Or will you bind him for your girls?

Je! Vikosi vya wavuvi watamfanyia biashara? Watamgawanya kati ya wafanyao biashara? Ayabu 41:6

Will traders barter for him? Will they part him among the merchants?

Je! Waweza kuijaza ngozi yake na vyuma vyenye ncha, Au kichwa chake kwa vyusa? Ayabu 41:7

Can you fill his skin with barbed irons, Or his head with fish-spears?

Mwekee mkono wako; Vikumbuke vile vita, wala usifanye tena. Ayabu 41:8

Lay your hand on him. Remember the battle, and do so no more.

Tazama, kumtamani ni bure; Je! Hatambwaga chini huyo atakayemtazama? Ayabu 41:9

Behold, the hope of him is in vain. Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

Hapana aliye mkali hata akathubutu kumwamsha; Bali ni nani awezaye kusimama mbele yangu mimi? Ayabu 41:10

None is so fierce that he dare stir him up. Who then is he who can stand before me?

Ni nani aliyetangulia kunipa hata nimlipe? Kila kilicho chini ya mbingu nzima ni changu. Ayabu 41:11

Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Everything under the heavens is mine.

Sitanyamaa kusema habari za via vyake, Wala nguvu zake kuu, wala umbo lake zuri. Ayabu 41:12

"I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Nor his mighty strength, nor his goodly frame.

Ni nani awezaye kumbambua magamba yake? Ni nani atakayepenya dirii yake maradufu? Ayabu 41:13

Who can strip off his outer garment? Who shall come within his jaws?

Ni nani awezaye kuifungua milango ya uso wake? Meno yake yatisha kandokando yake. Ayabu 41:14

Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth is terror.

Magamba yake yenye nguvu ndiyo fahari yake, Yamefungamana pamoja kama kwa kufungwa kwa muhuri. Ayabu 41:15

Strong scales are his pride, Shut up together with a close seal.

Jinsi yalivyoshikamana Hata upepo hauwezi kupita kati. Ayabu 41:16

One is so near to another, That no air can come between them.

Yamefungamana pamoja; Yameshikamana, hata hayawezekani kutengwa. Ayabu 41:17

They are joined one to another; They stick together, so that they can't be pulled apart.

Kwa kuchemua kwake mwanga humemetuka, Na macho yake yanafanana na makope ya alfajiri. Ayabu 41:18

His sneezing flashes forth light, His eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

Mienge iwakayo hutoka kinywani mwake, Na macheche ya moto huruka nje. Ayabu 41:19

Out of his mouth go burning torches, Sparks of fire leap forth.

Moshi hutoka katika mianzi ya pua yake, Kama nyungu ikitokota, na manyasi yawakayo. Ayabu 41:20

Out of his nostrils a smoke goes, As of a boiling pot over a fire of reeds.

Pumzi zake huwasha makaa, Na miali ya moto hutoka kinywani mwake. Ayabu 41:21

His breath kindles coals. A flame goes forth from his mouth.

Katika shingo yake hukaa nguvu, Na utisho hucheza mbele yake. Ayabu 41:22

In his neck there is strength. Terror dances before him.

Manofu ya nyama yake hushikamana; Yanakazana juu yake; hayawezi kuondolewa. Ayabu 41:23

The flakes of his flesh are joined together. They are firm on him. They can't be moved.

Moyo wake una imara kama jiwe; Naam, imara kama jiwe la chini la kusagia. Ayabu 41:24

His heart is as firm as a stone, Yes, firm as the lower millstone.

Anapojiinua, mashujaa huogopa; Kwa sababu ya woga wao huvunjwa moyo. Ayabu 41:25

When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid. They retreat before his thrashing.

Mtu akimpiga kwa upanga, haumwingii; Wala fumo, wala mshale, wala mkuki wenye ncha. Ayabu 41:26

If one lay at him with the sword, it can't avail; Nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.

Yeye huona chuma kuwa kama nyasi, Na shaba kama mti uliooza. Ayabu 41:27

He counts iron as straw; And brass as rotten wood.

Mshale hauwezi kumkimbiza; Na mawe ya teo kwake hugeuka kuwa kama makapi. Ayabu 41:28

The arrow can't make him flee. Sling stones are like chaff to him.

Marungu huhesabiwa kama mabua; Naye hucheka mshindo wa mkuki ukitupwa. Ayabu 41:29

Clubs are counted as stubble. He laughs at the rushing of the javelin.

Pande zake za chini ni kama vigae vikali; Hutandika malazi kama kuweka chombo cha kupuria nafaka juu ya matope. Ayabu 41:30

His undersides are like sharp potsherds, Leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge.

Yeye huchemsha kilindi mfano wa nyungu; Hufanya bahari kuwa kama mafuta. Ayabu 41:31

He makes the deep to boil like a pot. He makes the sea like a pot of ointment.

Hufanya mapito yake kung'aa nyuma yake Hata mtu angedhani kilindi kina mvi. Ayabu 41:32

He makes a path to shine after him. One would think the deep had white hair.

Juu ya nchi hapana aliyefanana naye, Aliyeumbwa pasipo oga. Ayabu 41:33

On earth there is not his equal, That is made without fear.

Yeye hutazama kila kitu kilicho juu; Ni mfalme juu ya wote wenye kiburi. Ayabu 41:34

He sees everything that is high: He is king over all the sons of pride."
