Tena Elihu akajibu na kusema,
Moreover Elihu answered,
Je! Wewe wadhani kwamba haya ni haki yako, Au je! Wasema, Haki yangu ni zaidi kuliko ya Mungu,
"Do you think this to be your right, Or do you say, 'My righteousness is more than God's,'
Maana wasema, Kutakuwa na faida gani kwako wewe? Tena, Nitapata faida gani, kuliko nikifanya dhambi?
That you ask, 'What advantage will it be to you? What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?'
Mimi nitakujibu, Na hawa wenzio pamoja nawe.
I will answer you, And your companions with you.
Ziangalie mbingu ukaone; Na mawingu yaangalie, yaliyo juu kuliko wewe.
Look to the heavens, and see. See the skies, which are higher than you.
Ikiwa umefanya dhambi, umefanya nini juu yake? Yakiwa makosa yako yameongezeka, wamfanyia nini yeye?
If you have sinned, what effect do you have against him? If your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
Ikiwa u mwenye haki, wampa kitu gani? Au yeye hupokea nini mkononi mwako?
If you are righteous, what do you give him? Or what does he receive from your hand?
Uovu wako waweza kumwumiza mtu kama wewe; Na haki yako yaweza kumfaa mwanadamu.
Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; And your righteousness may profit a son of man.
Kwa sababu ya wingi wa jeuri wao hulia; Walilia msaada kwa sababu ya mkono wa wakuu.
"By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
Wala hapana asemaye, Yuko wapi Mungu Muumba wangu, Awapaye nyimbo wakati wa usiku;
But none says, 'Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night,
Atufundishaye zaidi ya hayawani wa nchi, Na kutufanya wenye hekima kuliko ndege za angani?
Who teaches us more than the animals of the earth, And makes us wiser than the birds of the sky?'
Hulia huko, lakini hapana ajibuye, Kwa sababu ya kiburi cha watu waovu.
There they cry, but none gives answer, Because of the pride of evil men.
Hakika Mungu hatasikia ubatili, Wala Mwenyezi hatauangalia.
Surely God will not hear an empty cry, Neither will the Almighty regard it.
Sembuse usemapo wewe ya kuwa humwangalii, Hiyo daawa i mbele yake, nawe wamngojea!
How much less when you say you don't see him. The cause is before him, and you wait for him!
Lakini sasa, kwa sababu yeye hakukujilia katika hasira zake, Wala hauangalii sana unyeti;
But now, because he has not visited in his anger, Neither does he greatly regard arrogance.
Ndiposa Ayubu hufunua kinywa chake kwa ubatili; Huongeza maneno pasipo maarifa.
Therefore Job opens his mouth with empty talk, And he multiplies words without knowledge."
