Kisha Bwana akanena na Musa, na kumwambia,
And the LORD said to Moses,

Nena na watu wa Israeli, uwaambie, Mtu mume au mtu mke atakapoweka nadhiri kubwa, nadhiri ya Mnadhiri, ili ajiweke wakfu kwa Bwana;
“Speak to the Israelites and tell them that if a man or woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD,

atajitenga na divai na vileo; hatakunywa siki ya divai, wala siki ya kileo, wala asinywe maji yo yote ya zabibu, wala asile zabibu, mbichi wala zilizokauka.
he is to abstain from wine and strong drink. He must not drink vinegar made from wine or strong drink, and he must not drink any grape juice or eat fresh grapes or raisins.

Siku zote za kujitenga kwake asile kitu cho chote kilichoandaliwa kwa mzabibu, tangu kokwa hata maganda.
All the days of his separation, he is not to eat anything that comes from the grapevine, not even the seeds or skins.

Siku zote za nadhiri yake ya kujitenga, wembe usimfikilie kichwani mwake; hata hizo siku zitakapotimia, ambazo alijiweka wakfu kwa Bwana, atakuwa mtakatifu, ataziacha nywele za kichwani mwake zikue ziwe ndefu.
For the entire period of his vow of separation, no razor shall touch his head. He must be holy until the time of his separation to the LORD is complete; he must let the hair of his head grow long.

Siku hizo zote ambazo alijiweka awe wa Bwana asikaribie maiti.
Throughout the days of his separation to the LORD, he must not go near a dead body.

Hatajitia unajisi kwa ajili ya baba yake, wala kwa ajili ya mamaye, wala kwa nduguye mume, wala kwa umbu lake, wakifa wao; kwa sababu ya huku kujiweka kwa Mungu ni juu ya kichwa chake.
Even if his father or mother or brother or sister should die, he is not to defile himself, because the symbol of consecration to his God is upon his head.

Siku zote za kujitenga kwake, yeye ni mtakatifu kwa Bwana
Throughout the time of his separation, he is holy to the LORD.

Na kama mtu ye yote akifa ghafla karibu naye, akajitia unajisi kichwa cha kutengwa kwake, ndipo atakinyoa kichwa siku hiyo ya kutakaswa kwake, atakinyoa siku ya saba.
If someone suddenly dies in his presence and defiles his consecrated head of hair, he must shave his head on the day of his cleansing—the seventh day.

Tena siku ya nane ataleta hua wawili, au makinda mawili ya njiwa, aende nao kwa kuhani, hata mlangoni pa hema ya kukutania;
On the eighth day he must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

naye kuhani atasongeza mmoja kuwa sadaka ya dhambi, na wa pili kuwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, naye atafanya upatanisho kwa ajili yake, kwa sababu aliingia kosani kwa ajili ya mfu, naye atatakasa kichwa chake siku iyo hiyo.
And the priest is to offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to make atonement for him, because he has sinned by being in the presence of the dead body. On that day he must consecrate his head again.

Kisha ataziweka kwa Bwana hizo siku za kujitenga kwake, naye ataleta mwana-kondoo mume wa mwaka wa kwanza, kuwa sadaka ya hatia; lakini hizo siku za kwanza hazitahesabiwa, kwa kuwa kule kujitenga kwake kulitiwa unajisi.
He must rededicate his time of separation to the LORD and bring a year-old male lamb as a guilt offering. But the preceding days shall not be counted, because his separation was defiled.

Na sheria ya Mnadhiri ni hii, zitakapotimia hizo siku za kujitenga kwake; ataletwa mlangoni pa hema ya kukutania;
Now this is the law of the Nazirite when his time of separation is complete: He must be brought to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,

naye atasongeza sadaka yake kwa Bwana, mwana-kondoo mmoja mume wa mwaka wa kwanza mkamilifu, kuwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, na mwana-kondoo mmoja mke wa mwaka wa kwanza mkamilifu, kuwa sadaka ya dhambi, na kondoo mume mmoja mkamilifu kwa sadaka ya amani,
and he is to present an offering to the LORD of an unblemished year-old male lamb as a burnt offering, an unblemished year-old female lamb as a sin offering, and an unblemished ram as a peace offering—

together with their grain offerings and drink offerings—and a basket of unleavened cakes made from fine flour mixed with oil and unleavened wafers coated with oil.

Na kuhani atavisongeza mbele za Bwana, naye atasongeza sadaka yake ya dhambi, na sadaka yake ya kuteketezwa;
The priest is to present all these before the LORD and make the sin offering and the burnt offering.
17
naye atamsongeza huyo kondoo mume kuwa dhabihu ya sadaka za amani kwa Bwana, pamoja na kikapu cha mikate isiyotiwa chachu; kisha kuhani atasongeza sadaka ya unga nayo, na sadaka yake ya kinywaji.
He shall also offer the ram as a peace offering to the LORD, along with the basket of unleavened bread. And the priest is to offer the accompanying grain offering and drink offering.

Naye Mnadhiri atakinyoa kichwa cha kujitenga kwake, mlangoni pa hema ya kukutania, kisha atatwaa hizo nywele za kichwa cha kujitenga kwake, na kuzitia katika moto ulio chini ya dhabihu ya sadaka za amani.
Then at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, the Nazirite is to shave his consecrated head, take the hair, and put it on the fire under the peace offering.

Kisha kuhani atautwaa mkono wa huyo kondoo mume uliotokoswa, na mkate mmoja usio chachu atautwaa kikapuni, na mkate mmoja wa kaki, naye ataitia mikononi mwa yule Mnadhiri, baada ya kunyoa kichwa cha kujitenga kwake;
And the priest is to take the boiled shoulder from the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them into the hands of the Nazirite who has just shaved the hair of his consecration.

naye kuhani atavitikisa viwe sadaka ya kutikiswa mbele za Bwana; kitu hicho ni kitakatifu kwa kuhani, pamoja na kidari cha kutikiswa, na paja la kuinuliwa; kisha baadaye Mnadhiri ana ruhusa kunywa divai.
The priest shall then wave them as a wave offering before the LORD. This is a holy portion for the priest, in addition to the breast of the wave offering and the thigh that was presented. After that, the Nazirite may drink wine.

Sheria ya Mnadhiri awekaye nadhiri ni hiyo, tena ni sheria ya sadaka yake atakayomtolea Bwana kwa ajili ya kujitenga kwake, pamoja na vitu vile ambavyo aweza kuvipata zaidi; kama nadhiri yake awekayo ilivyo, ndivyo impasavyo kufanya kwa kuiandama sheria ya kujitenga kwake.
This is the law of the Nazirite who vows his offering to the LORD for his separation, in addition to whatever else he can afford; he must fulfill whatever vow he makes, according to the law of his separation.”

Kisha Bwana akanena na Musa, na kumwambia,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
23
Nena na Haruni na wanawe, uwaambie, Hivi ndivyo mtakavyowabarikia wana wa Israeli; mtawaambia;
“Tell Aaron and his sons: This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:
24
Bwana akubarikie, na kukulinda;
‘May the LORD bless you and keep you;
25
Bwana akuangazie nuru za uso wake, na kukufadhili;
may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26
Bwana akuinulie uso wake, na kukupa amani.
may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.’
27
Ndivyo watakavyoweka jina langu juu ya wana wa Israeli; nami nitawabarikia.
So they shall put My name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”
