Ufunuo juu ya Misri. Tazama, Bwana amepanda juu ya wingu jepesi, anafika Misri; na sanamu za Misri zinatikisika mbele zake, na moyo wa Misri unayeyuka ndani yake.
This is the burden against Egypt: Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud; He is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble before Him, and the hearts of the Egyptians will melt within them.

Nami nitawaamsha Wamisri juu ya Wamisri; nao watapigana, kila mtu na ndugu yake, na kila mtu na jirani yake, mji juu ya mji, na ufalme juu ya ufalme.
“So I will incite Egyptian against Egyptian; brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

Na roho ya Misri itamwagika kabisa katikati yake, nami nitayabatilisha mashauri yake, nao watakwenda kwa sanamu zao, na kwa waganga, na kwa wapiga ramli, na kwa wachawi.
Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be emptied out from among them, and I will frustrate their plans, so that they will resort to idols and spirits of the dead, to mediums and spiritists.

Nami nitawatoa hao Wamisri na kuwatia katika mikono ya bwana mgumu; na mfalme mkali atawatawala; asema Bwana, Bwana wa majeshi.
I will deliver the Egyptians into the hands of a harsh master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.

Na maji ya baharini yatapunguka, na huo mto utakauka na kuwa pakavu.
The waters of the Nile will dry up, and the riverbed will be parched and empty.

Na vijito vya mto vitatoa uvundo, na mifereji ya Misri itakuwa haina maji mengi, itakauka; manyasi na mianzi itanyauka.
The canals will stink; the streams of Egypt will trickle and dry up; the reeds and rushes will wither.

Vitu vimeavyo karibu na Nile, katika ukingo wa Nile, na vyote vilivyopandwa karibu na Nile vitakauka na kuondolewa na kutoweka.
The bulrushes by the Nile, by the mouth of the river, and all the fields sown along the Nile, will wither, blow away, and be no more.

Na wavuvi wataugua, na wote wavuao kwa ndoana watahuzunika, nao watandao jarife juu ya maji watazimia.
Then the fishermen will mourn, all who cast a hook into the Nile will lament, and those who spread nets on the waters will pine away.

Tena wao wafanyao kazi ya kuchana kitani watafadhaika, na hao pia wafumao bafta.
The workers in flax will be dismayed, and the weavers of fine linen will turn pale.

Na nguzo za nchi zitavunjika vipande vipande, wote wafanyao kazi ya mshahara watahuzunika nafsini mwao.
The workers in cloth will be dejected, and all the hired workers will be sick at heart.

Wakuu wa Soani wamekuwa wapumbavu kabisa; washauri wenye hekima wa Farao, shauri lao limepumbazika; mwawezaje kumwambia Farao, Mimi ni mwana wa wenye hekima, ni mwana wa wafalme wa zamani?
The princes of Zoan are mere fools; Pharaoh’s wise counselors give senseless advice. How can you say to Pharaoh, “I am one of the wise, a son of eastern kings”?

Wako wapi, basi, watu wako wenye hekima? Na wakuambie sasa; na wajue mambo aliyokusudia Bwana wa majeshi juu ya Misri.
Where are your wise men now? Let them tell you and reveal what the LORD of Hosts has planned against Egypt.

Wakuu wa Soani wamekuwa wapumbavu, wakuu wa Nofu wamedanganyika; na hao walio mawe ya pembeni ya kabila zake wameikosesha Misri.
The princes of Zoan have become fools; the princes of Memphis are deceived. The cornerstones of her tribes have led Egypt astray.

Yeye Bwana ametia roho ya ushupavu katika moyo wa Misri, nao wameikosesha Misri katika matendo yake yote, kama mlevi aendavyo huko na huko akitapika.
The LORD has poured into her a spirit of confusion. Egypt has been led astray in all she does, as a drunkard staggers through his own vomit.

Wala haitakuwako kazi yo yote katika Misri iwezayo kufanywa, ya kichwa au ya mkia, ya tawi au ya nyasi.
There is nothing Egypt can do—head or tail, palm or reed.
16
Katika siku hiyo Misri itakuwa kama wanawake; itatetemeka na kuogopa kwa sababu ya kutikiswa kwa mkono wa Bwana wa majeshi, autikisao juu yake.
In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble with fear beneath the uplifted hand of the LORD of Hosts, when He brandishes it against them.

Na nchi ya Yuda itakuwa sababu ya utisho kwa Misri; kila mtu atakayeambiwa habari zake ataingiwa na woga, kwa sababu ya kusudi la Bwana wa majeshi, analolikusudia juu yake.
The land of Judah will bring terror to Egypt; whenever Judah is mentioned, Egypt will tremble over what the LORD of Hosts has planned against it.

Katika siku hiyo itakuwako miji mitano katika nchi ya Misri itumiayo lugha ya Kanaani, na kumwapia Bwana wa majeshi; mji mmoja utaitwa Mji wa uharibifu.
In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of Hosts. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.

Katika siku hiyo itakuwako madhabahu katika nchi ya Misri kwa Bwana, na nguzo mpakani mwake kwa Bwana.
In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the center of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD near her border.
20
Nayo itakuwa ishara na ushuhuda kwa Bwana wa majeshi katika nchi ya Misri; kwa maana watamlilia Bwana kwa sababu ya watu wawaoneao, naye atawapelekea mwokozi mwenye kuwatetea, naye atawaokoa.
It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, He will send them a savior and defender to rescue them.
21
Na Bwana atajulikana na Misri, na Wamisri watamjua Bwana katika siku hiyo; naam watamtumikia kwa dhabihu na matoleo, nao watamwekea Bwana nadhiri, na kuzitekeleza.
The LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and on that day Egypt will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and fulfill them.
22
Naye Bwana atapiga Misri, akipiga na kuponya; nao wakirudi kwa Bwana, atakubali maombi yao na kuwaponya.
And the LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; He will strike them but heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and He will hear their prayers and heal them.
23
Katika siku hiyo itakuwako njia kuu itokayo Misri na kufika hata Ashuru; Mwashuri atafika Misri, na Mmisri atafika Ashuru, na Wamisri wataabudu pamoja na Waashuri.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt, and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.

Katika siku hiyo Israeli atakuwa wa tatu pamoja na Misri na Ashuru, watakuwa baraka kati ya dunia;
In that day Israel will join a three-party alliance with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing upon the earth.
25
kwa kuwa Bwana wa majeshi amewabariki, akisema, Wabarikiwe watu wangu Misri; na wewe Ashuru, kazi ya mikono yangu; na wewe Israeli, urithi wangu.
The LORD of Hosts will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance.”
