I will camp in a circle around you; I will besiege you with towers and set up siege works against you.

Nawe utashushwa, nawe utanena toka chini ya nchi, na maneno yako yatakuwa chini toka mavumbini; na sauti yako itakuwa kama sauti ya mtu mwenye pepo, ikitoka katika nchi, na matamko yako yatanong'ona toka mavumbini.
You will be brought low, you will speak from the ground, and out of the dust your words will be muffled. Your voice will be like a spirit from the ground; your speech will whisper out of the dust.

But your many foes will be like fine dust, the multitude of the ruthless like blowing chaff. Then suddenly, in an instant,

Naye atajiliwa na Bwana wa majeshi kwa ngurumo, na tetemeko la nchi, na sauti kuu, na chamchela, na tufani, na mwali wa moto uteketezao.
you will be visited by the LORD of Hosts with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, with windstorm and tempest and consuming flame of fire.

Na wingi wa mataifa wapiganao na Arieli, wote wapiganao naye na ngome yake, nao wamwudhio, watakuwa kama ndoto, na maono ya usiku.
All the many nations going out to battle against Ariel—even all who war against her, laying siege and attacking her—will be like a dream, like a vision in the night,

Tena itakuwa kama mtu mwenye njaa aotapo, kumbe, anakula; lakini aamkapo, nafsi yake haina kitu; na kama mtu mwenye kiu aotapo, kumbe, anakunywa; lakini aamkapo, kumbe, anazimia, na nafsi yake inatamani; hivyo ndivyo utakavyokuwa huo wingi wa mataifa waletao vita juu ya mlima Sayuni.
as when a hungry man dreams he is eating, then awakens still hungry; as when a thirsty man dreams he is drinking, then awakens faint and parched. So will it be for all the many nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.

Ngojeni mstaajabu; fanyeni anasa zenu na kuwa vipofu; wamelewa wala si kwa mvinyo; wamewaya-waya wala si kwa sababu ya kileo.
Stop and be astonished; blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not with wine; stagger, but not from strong drink.

Kwa maana Bwana amewamwagieni roho ya usingizi, amefumba macho yenu, yaani, manabii; amefunika vichwa vyenu, yaani, waonaji.
For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has shut your eyes, O prophets; He has covered your heads, O seers.

Na maono yote yamekuwa kwenu kama maneno ya chuo kilichotiwa muhuri, ambacho watu humpa mtu aliye na maarifa, wakisema, Tafadhali ukisome hiki; akasema, Siwezi, kwa kuwa kimetiwa muhuri;
And the entire vision will be to you like the words sealed in a scroll. If it is handed to someone to read, he will say, “I cannot, because it is sealed.”

Or if the scroll is handed to one unable to read, he will say, “I cannot read.”

Bwana akanena, Kwa kuwa watu hawa hunikaribia na kuniheshimu kwa vinywa vyao, bali mioyo yao wamefarakana nami, na kicho chao walicho nacho kwangu ni maagizo ya wanadamu waliyofundishwa;
Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men.

kwa sababu hiyo mimi nitafanya tena kazi ya ajabu kati ya watu hawa, kazi ya ajabu na mwujiza; na akili za watu wao wenye akili zitapotea, na ufahamu wa wenye busara wao utafichwa.
Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder upon wonder. The wisdom of the wise will vanish, and the intelligence of the intelligent will be hidden.”

Ole wao wanaojitahidi kumficha Bwana mashauri yao, na matendo yao yamo gizani, nao husema, Ni nani atuonaye? Nani atujuaye?
Woe to those who dig deep to hide their plans from the LORD. In darkness they do their works and say, “Who sees us, and who will know?”

Ninyi mnapindua mambo; Je! Mfinyanzi ahesabiwe kuwa kama udongo; kitu kilichofinyangwa kimnene yeye aliyekifinyanga, Hakunifinyanga huyu; au kitu kilichoumbwa kimnene yeye aliyekiumba, Yeye hana ufahamu?
You have turned things upside down, as if the potter were regarded as clay. Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, “He did not make me”? Can the pottery say of the potter, “He has no understanding”?

Je! Si muda mdogo uliobaki, na Lebanoni itageuzwa kuwa shamba lizaalo sana, na lile shamba lizaalo sana litahesabiwa kuwa msitu?
In a very short time, will not Lebanon become an orchard, and the orchard seem like a forest?

Na katika siku hiyo viziwi watasikia maneno ya hicho chuo, na macho ya vipofu yataona katika upofu na katika giza.
On that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of the deep darkness the eyes of the blind will see.

Wanyenyekevu nao wataongeza furaha yao katika Bwana, na maskini katika wanadamu watafurahi katika Mtakatifu wa Israeli.
The humble will increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20
Kwa maana mwenye kutisha ameangamizwa, naye mwenye dharau amekoma, nao wote watazamiao uovu wamekatiliwa mbali;
For the ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who look for evil will be cut down—

hao wamfanyao mtu kuwa amekosa katika neno, na kumtegea mtego yeye aonyaye langoni, na kumgeuza mwenye haki kwa kitu kisichofaa.
those who indict a man with a word, who ensnare the mediator at the gate, and who with false charges deprive the innocent of justice.
22
Basi, Bwana aliyemkomboa Ibrahimu asema hivi, katika habari za nyumba ya Yakobo; Yakobo hatatahayarika sasa, wala uso wake hautabadilika rangi yake.
Therefore the LORD who redeemed Abraham says of the house of Jacob: “No longer will Jacob be ashamed and no more will his face grow pale.

Bali atakapowaona watoto wake, walio kazi ya mikono yangu, katikati yake, wao watalitakasa jina langu; naam, watamtakasa Mtakatifu wa Yakobo, nao watamcha Mungu wa Israeli.
For when he sees his children around him, the work of My hands, they will honor My name, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and they will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

Hao nao wakosao rohoni mwao watapata kufahamu, na hao wanung'unikao watajifunza elimu.
Then the wayward in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction.”
