Why are we regarded as cattle, as stupid in your sight?

Wewe ujiraruaye mwenyewe katika hasira yako, Je! Dunia itaachwa kwa ajili yako wewe? Au jabali litaondolewa mahali pake?
You who tear yourself in anger—should the earth be forsaken on your account, or the rocks be moved from their place?

Naam, mwanga wa waovu utazimika, Wala mwali wa moto wake hautang'aa.
Indeed, the lamp of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow.

Mwanga hemani mwake utakuwa giza, Nayo taa iliyo juu yake itazimishwa.
The light in his tent grows dark, and the lamp beside him goes out.

Hatua zake za nguvu zitasongwa, Na shauri lake mwenyewe litamwangusha chini.
His vigorous stride is shortened, and his own schemes trip him up.

Kwani ametupwa katika wavu na miguu yake mwenyewe, Naye huenda juu ya matanzi.
For his own feet lead him into a net, and he wanders into its mesh.

Tanzi litamshika kisigino chake, Na mtambo utamgwia.
A trap seizes his heel; a snare grips him.

Amefichiwa tanzi chini, Na mtego amewekewa njiani.
A noose is hidden in the ground, and a trap lies in his path.

Matisho yatamtia hofu pande zote, Na kumfukuza karibu na visigino vyake.
Terrors frighten him on every side and harass his every step.

Nguvu zake zitaliwa na njaa, Na msiba utakuwa tayari kwa kusita kwake.
His strength is depleted, and calamity is ready at his side.
13
Utakula via vya mwili wake, Naam, mzaliwa wa kwanza wa mauti atavila via vyake.
It devours patches of his skin; the firstborn of death devours his limbs.

Atang'olewa katika hema yake aliyokuwa akiitumaini; Naye atapelekwa kwake mfalme wa utisho.
He is torn from the shelter of his tent and is marched off to the king of terrors.

Ambacho si chake kitakaa katika hema yake; Kiberiti kitamwagwa juu ya makazi yake.
Fire resides in his tent; burning sulfur rains down on his dwelling.
16
Chini, mizizi yake itakaushwa; Na juu, tawi lake litasinyaa.
The roots beneath him dry up, and the branches above him wither away.
17
Kumbukumbu lake litakoma katika nchi, Wala hatakuwa na jina mashambani.
The memory of him perishes from the earth, and he has no name in the land.

Atakimbizwa kutoka mwangani hata gizani, Na kufukuzwa atoke duniani.
He is driven from light into darkness and is chased from the inhabited world.

Hatakuwa na mwana wala mjukuu kati ya watu wake, Wala hatasalia mtu hapo alipokaa.
He has no offspring or posterity among his people, no survivor where he once lived.
20
Hao wanaokaa magharibi watastaajabia siku yake, Kama vile wanaokaa mashariki walivyotiwa hofu.
Those in the west are appalled at his fate, while those in the east tremble in horror.
21
Hakika ndivyo yalivyo makazi ya wapotovu, Na hapa ni mahali pake asiyemjua Mungu. </p>
Surely such is the dwelling of the wicked and the place of one who does not know God.”
