Aliyejeruhika konde, au aliyekatika tupu yake, asiingie mtu huyo katika mkutano wa Bwana.
No man with crushed or severed genitals may enter the assembly of the LORD.

Mwana wa haramu asiingie katika mkutano wa Bwana; hata kizazi cha kumi asiingie aliye wake katika mkutano wa Bwana.
No one of illegitimate birth may enter the assembly of the LORD, nor may any of his descendants, even to the tenth generation.

Mwamoni wala Mmoabi wasiingie katika mkutano wa Bwana; wala hata kizazi cha kumi mtu wao asiingie katika mkutano wa Bwana milele;
No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD, even to the tenth generation.

kwa sababu hapo mlipotoka Misri hawakuwalaki na chakula wala maji njiani; na kwa kuwa walimwajiri juu yako Balaamu mwana wa Beori kutoka Pethori iliyo Mesopotamia, aje akuapize.
For they did not meet you with food and water on your way out of Egypt, and they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in Aram-naharaim to curse you.

Lakini Bwana, Mungu wako, hakukubali kumsikiza huyo Balaamu; Bwana, Mungu wako, aliyageuza yale maapizo kuwa ni baraka, kwa vile alivyokupenda Bwana, Mungu wako.
Yet the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam, and the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you.

Usitafute amani yao wala heri yao siku zako zote, milele.
You are not to seek peace or prosperity from them as long as you live.

Usimchukie Mwedomi; kwa kuwa ni ndugu yako; usimchukie Mmisri, kwa kuwa ulikuwa mgeni katika nchi yake.
Do not despise an Edomite, for he is your brother. Do not despise an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.

Wana wao watakaozaliwa kizazi cha tatu na waingie katika mkutano wa Bwana.
The third generation of children born to them may enter the assembly of the LORD.

Utakapotoka kwenda juu ya adui zako nawe u katika marago, jilinde na kila neno baya.
When you are encamped against your enemies, then you shall keep yourself from every wicked thing.

Akiwa kwenu mtu awaye yote asiyekuwa ni tohara kwa ajili ya yaliyomtukia usiku, na atoke nje ya kituo, wala asiingie ndani ya kituo;
If any man among you becomes unclean because of a nocturnal emission, he must leave the camp and stay outside.

lakini na iwe ikaribiapo jioni, yeye ataoga maji; na jua likiisha kuchwa ataingia ndani ya kituo.
When evening approaches, he must wash with water, and when the sun sets he may return to the camp.
12
Tena uwe na mahali nje ya kituo, kwa kutokea nje;
You must have a place outside the camp to go and relieve yourself.
13
nawe uwe na jembe dogo katika silaha zako; napo uotamapo nje uchimbe kwa lile jembe, na kugeuka na kukifunika kikutokacho;
And you must have a digging tool in your equipment so that when you relieve yourself you can dig a hole and cover up your excrement.

kwa kuwa Bwana. Mungu wako, yuatembea katika kituo akuokoe, na kukutolea adui zako mbele yako; kwa hiyo na kiwe kitakatifu kituo chako; asije akaona kitu kwako kisichokuwa safi, akageuka na kukuacha.
For the LORD your God walks throughout your camp to protect you and deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, lest He see anything unclean among you and turn away from you.

Usimrudishe kwa bwana wake mtumwa aliyejiponya kutoka kwa bwana wake kuja kwako;
Do not return a slave to his master if he has taken refuge with you.
16
na akae nawe, katikati yako, ndani ya malango yako mojawapo, mahali atakapochagua palipo pema machoni pake; usimwonee.
Let him live among you wherever he chooses, in the town of his pleasing. Do not oppress him.
17
Pasiwe na kahaba katika binti za Israeli, wala pasiwe na hanithi katika wana wa Israeli wanaume.
No daughter or son of Israel is to be a shrine prostitute.
18
Usilete ujira wa kahaba, wala mshahara wa mbwa, katika nyumba ya Bwana, Mungu wako, kwa ajili ya nadhiri yo yote; kwani haya ni machukizo kwa Bwana, Mungu wako, yote mawili.
You must not bring the wages of a prostitute, whether female or male, into the house of the LORD your God to fulfill any vow, because both are detestable to the LORD your God.

Usimkopeshe ndugu yako kwa riba; riba ya fedha, riba ya vyakula, riba ya kitu cho chote kikopeshwacho kwa riba;
Do not charge your brother interest on money, food, or any other type of loan.
20
mgeni waweza kumkopesha kwa riba, ila usimkopeshe ndugu yako kwa riba; ili Bwana, Mungu wako, apate kukubarikia katika yote utiayo mkono wako, katika nchi uingiayo kuimiliki.
You may charge a foreigner interest, but not your brother, so that the LORD your God may bless you in everything to which you put your hand in the land that you are entering to possess.

Utakapoweka nadhiri kwa Bwana, Mungu wako, usiwe mlegevu katika kuiondoa; kwa kuwa Bwana, Mungu wako, hataacha kuitaka kwako; nayo hivi itakuwa dhambi kwako.
If you make a vow to the LORD your God, do not be slow to keep it, because He will surely require it of you, and you will be guilty of sin.

Lakini ukijizuia usiweke nadhiri, haitakuwa dhambi kwako.
But if you refrain from making a vow, you will not be guilty of sin.
23
Yaliyotoka midomoni mwako yashike kuyafanya; kwa mfano wa ulivyomwekea nadhiri Bwana, Mungu wako, ni sadaka ya hiari uliyoahidi kwa kinywa chako.
Be careful to follow through on what comes from your lips, because you have freely vowed to the LORD your God with your own mouth.

Uingiapo katika shamba la mizabibu la jirani yako, utaweza kula zabibu za kukushibisha, kama upendavyo; ila usitie katika chombo chako.
When you enter your neighbor’s vineyard, you may eat your fill of grapes, but you must not put any in your basket.
25
Uingiapo katika mmea wa jirani yako waweza kuyapurura masuke kwa mkono wako; ila usisongeze mundu katika mmea wa jirani yako. </p>
When you enter your neighbor’s grainfield, you may pluck the heads of grain with your hand, but you must not put a sickle to your neighbor’s grain.
