Kisha Bwana akanena na Musa, na kumwambia,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Nena na wana wa Israeli, na kuwaambia, Mtakapoingia nchi yenu ya kukaa, niwapayo,
Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, When you are come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,
nanyi mwataka kumsongezea Bwana sadaka kwa moto, kwamba ni sadaka ya kuteketezwa, au dhabihu ya kuchinjwa, ili kuondoa nadhiri, au kuwa sadaka ya hiari, au katika sikukuu zenu zilizoamriwa, ili kumfanyia Bwana harufu ipendezayo, katika ng'ombe, au katika kondoo;
and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill-offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock;
ndipo yeye atakayetoa matoleo yake na amtolee Bwana sadaka ya unga ya sehemu ya kumi ya efa ya unga mwembamba uliochanganywa na robo ya hini ya mafuta;
then shall he who offers his offering offer to Yahweh a meal-offering of a tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of oil:
na divai kwa sadaka ya kinywaji, robo ya hini, utaiandaa pamoja na sadaka ya kuteketezwa, au kwa dhabihu ya kuchinjwa, kwa ajili ya kila mwana-kondoo.
and wine for the drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shall you prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
Au kwa ajili ya kondoo mume, utaiandaa sadaka ya unga ya sehemu za kumi mbili za efa ya unga mwembamba uliochanganywa na sehemu ya tatu ya hini ya mafuta;
Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin of oil:
na kwa sadaka ya kinywaji utasongeza sehemu ya tatu ya hini ya divai, kuwa harufu ya kupendeza kwa Bwana.
and for the drink-offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor to Yahweh.
Tena hapo utakapomwandaa ng'ombe mume kwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, au kwa dhabihu ya kuchinjwa, kwa kuondoa nadhiri, au kwa sadaka za amani kwa Bwana;
When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace-offerings to Yahweh;
ndipo utakapotoa, pamoja na huyo ng'ombe, sadaka ya unga ya sehemu za kumi tatu za efa ya unga mwembamba uliochanganywa na nusu ya hini ya mafuta.
then shall he offer with the bull a meal-offering of three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil:
Tena utasongeza nusu ya hini ya divai kwa sadaka ya kinywaji, kwa sadaka iliyosongezwa kwa moto, ya harufu ya kupendeza kwa Bwana.
and you shall offer for the drink-offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahweh.
Ndivyo itakavyofanywa kwa kila ng'ombe, au kwa kila kondoo mume, au kwa kila mwana-kondoo mume, au kila mwana-mbuzi.
Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids.
Kama hesabu ilivyo ya hao mtakaowaandaa, ndivyo mtakavyofanya kwa kila mmoja, sawasawa na hesabu yao.
According to the number that you shall prepare, so shall you do to everyone according to their number.
Wote ambao wamezaliwa kwenu watafanya hayo yote kwa kuandama mfano huo, katika kusongeza sadaka kwa moto, ya harufu ya kupendeza kwa Bwana.
All who are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahweh.
Tena kwamba mgeni amekaa kwenu, au mtu ye yote aliye kati yenu katika vizazi vyenu, naye yuataka kusongeza sadaka kwa moto, na harufu ya kupendeza kwa Bwana; kama ninyi mfanyavyo, na yeye atafanya vivyo.
If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahweh; as you do, so he shall do.
Katika huo mkutano, kutakuwa na amri moja kwenu ninyi na kwa mgeni akaaye pamoja nanyi; ni amri ya milele katika vizazi vyenu; kama ninyi mlivyo, na mgeni atakuwa vivyo mbele za Bwana.
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner [with you], a statute forever throughout your generations: as you are, so shall the foreigner be before Yahweh.
Itakuwa sheria moja na amri moja kwenu ninyi na kwa mgeni akaaye nanyi.
One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.
Kisha Bwana akanena na Musa, na kumwambia,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Nena na wana wa Israeli, uwaambie, Mtakapoingia nchi niwapelekayo,
Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, When you come into the land where I bring you,
ndipo itakapokuwa ya kwamba hapo mtakapokula katika chakula cha nchi hiyo, mtamsongezea Bwana sadaka ya kuinuliwa.
then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Katika unga wenu wa kwanza wa chenga-chenga mtasongeza mkate uwe sadaka ya kuinuliwa; vile vile kama mfanyavyo sadaka ya kuinuliwa ya sakafu ya kupuria nafaka, ndivyo mtakavyoiinua.
Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a heave-offering: as the heave-offering of the threshing floor, so shall you heave it.
Malimbuko ya unga wenu mtampa Bwana sadaka ya kuinuliwa, katika vizazi vyenu.
Of the first of your dough you shall give to Yahweh a heave-offering throughout your generations.
Tena mtakapokosa, msiyashike maagizo hayo yote Bwana aliyomwambia Musa,
When you shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Yahweh has spoken to Moses,
hayo yote Bwana aliyowaagiza kwa mkono wa Musa, tangu siku hiyo Bwana aliyoleta maagizo, na baadaye katika vizazi vyenu
even all that Yahweh has commanded you by Moses, from the day that Yahweh gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;
ndipo itakapokuwa, kama ni kosa lililofanywa pasipo kujua, wala mkutano haukuwa na fahamu, ndipo mkutano wote utasongeza ng'ombe mume mmoja mdogo kuwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, kuwa harufu ya kupendeza kwa Bwana, pamoja na sadaka yake ya unga, na sadaka yake ya kinywaji, kama amri ilivyo, na mbuzi mume mmoja kuwa sadaka ya dhambi.
then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a sweet savor to Yahweh, with the meal-offering of it, and the drink-offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin-offering.
Naye kuhani atafanya upatanisho kwa ajili ya mkutano wote wa wana wa Israeli, nao watasamehewa; maana, lilikuwa ni kosa, nao wamekwisha leta matoleo yao, sadaka iliyosongezwa kwa Bwana kwa moto, na sadaka yao ya dhambi pia wameileta mbele za Bwana kwa ajili ya kosa lao;
The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin-offering before Yahweh, for their error:
nao mkutano wote wa wana wa Israeli watasamehewa, na mgeni akaaye kati yao; maana, katika habari za hao wote jambo hilo lilitendeka pasipo kujua.
and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.
Tena kama mtu mmoja akifanya dhambi pasipo kujua, ndipo atasongeza mbuzi mmoja mke wa mwaka wa kwanza kuwa sadaka ya dhambi.
If one person sin unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin-offering.
Naye kuhani atafanya upatanisho kwa ajili ya huyo mtu akosaye, atakapofanya dhambi pasipo kujua, mbele za Bwana, ili kufanya upatanisho kwa ajili yake; naye atasemehewa.
The priest shall make atonement for the soul who errs, when he sins unwittingly, before Yahweh, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.
Mtakuwa na sheria moja kwa huyo afanyaye neno lo lote pasipo kujua, kwa huyo aliyezaliwa kwenu kati ya wana wa Israeli, na kwa mgeni akaaye kati yao.
You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is home-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.
Lakini mtu afanyaye neno lo lote kwa kusudi, kama ni mzalia, kama ni mgeni, huyo amtukana Bwana; na mtu huyo atakatiliwa mbali na watu wake.
But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is home-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Kwa sababu amelidharau neno la Bwana, na kuyavunja maagizo yake; mtu huyo atakatiliwa mbali, uovu wake utakuwa juu yake.
Because he has despised the word of Yahweh, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.
Kisha wakati huo wana wa Israeli walipokuwako jangwani, wakamwona mtu mmoja akikusanya kuni siku ya Sabato.
While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.
Hao waliomwona akikusanya kuni wakamleta kwa Musa na Haruni, na kwa mkutano wote.
Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.
Nao wakamweka kifungoni, maana, lilikuwa halijasemwa atakalotendwa.
They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.
Bwana akamwambia Musa, Mtu huyo lazima atauawa; mkutano wote watampiga kwa mawe huko nje ya marago.
Yahweh said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.
Basi mkutano wote wakampeleka nje ya marago, nao wakampiga kwa mawe, akafa; kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Musa.
All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
Kisha Bwana akasema na Musa, na kumwambia,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Nena na wana wa Israeli, na kuwaagiza ya kwamba wajifanyie vishada katika ncha za nguo zao, katika vizazi vyao, tena ya kwamba watie katika kila kishada cha kila ncha nyuzi za rangi ya samawi;
Speak to the children of Israel, and bid those who they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of each border a cord of blue:
nacho kitakuwa kwenu ni kishada, ili mpate kukiangalia, na kuyakumbuka maagizo yote ya Bwana, na kuyafanya; tena kwamba msiende kutanga-tanga kuandama mioyo yenu wenyewe, na macho yenu wenyewe, ambayo mlikuwa mkiyaandama kwa uasherati hapo kwanza;
and it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;
ili mpate kukumbuka na kuyafanya maagizo yangu yote, na kuwa watakatifu kwa Mungu wenu.
that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.
Mimi ndimi Bwana, Mungu wenu, niliyewaleta kutoka nchi ya Misri, ili kwamba niwe Mungu wenu; mimi ndimi Bwana, Mungu wenu.
I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Yahweh your God.
