Kisha Miriamu na Haruni wakamnenea Musa kwa sababu ya mwanamke Mkushi aliyekuwa amemwoa; maana, alikuwa amemwoa mwanamke Mkushi. Hesabu 12:1

Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.

Wakasema, Je! Ni kweli Bwana amenena na Musa tu? Hakunena na sisi pia? Bwana akasikia maneno yao. Hesabu 12:2

They said, Has Yahweh indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn't he spoken also with us? Yahweh heard it.

Basi huyo mtu, huyo Musa, alikuwa mpole sana zaidi ya wanadamu wote waliokuwa juu ya uso wa nchi. Hesabu 12:3

Now the man Moses was very humble, above all the men who were on the surface of the earth.

Bwana akanena ghafula na Musa, na Haruni na Miriamu, na kuwaambia, Tokeni nje ninyi watatu, mwende hemani mwa kukutania. Basi hao watatu wakatoka nje. Hesabu 12:4

Yahweh spoke suddenly to Moses, and to Aaron, and to Miriam, Come out you three to the tent of meeting. They three came out.

Bwana akashuka katika nguzo ya wingu akasimama pale mlangoni pa Hema, akawaita Haruni na Miriamu, nao wakatoka nje wote wawili. Hesabu 12:5

Yahweh came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forth.

Kisha akawaambia,Sikizeni basi maneno yangu;Akiwapo nabii kati yenu,Mimi,Bwana,nitajifunua kwake katika maono,Nitasema naye katika ndoto. Hesabu 12:6

He said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I Yahweh will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.

Sivyo ilivyo kwa mtumishi wangu, Musa; Yeye ni mwaminifu katika nyumba yangu yote; Hesabu 12:7

My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all my house:

Kwake nitanena mdomo kwa mdomo, Maana, waziwazi wala si kwa mafumbo; Na umbo la Bwana yeye ataliona. Mbona basi ninyi hamkuogopa Kumnenea mtumishi wangu, huyo Musa? Hesabu 12:8

with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of Yahweh shall he see: why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

Hasira za Bwana zikawaka juu yao; naye akaenda zake. Hesabu 12:9

The anger of Yahweh was kindled against them; and he departed.

Kisha hilo wingu likaondoka kutoka pale juu ya hema; na tazama, Miriamu akawa mwenye ukoma, mweupe kama theluji; Haruni akamwangalia Miriamu, na tazama, yu mwenye ukoma. Hesabu 12:10

The cloud removed from over the Tent; and, behold, Miriam was leprous, as [white as] snow: and Aaron looked at Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

Kisha Haruni akamwambia Musa, Ee bwana wangu nakusihi sana usituwekee dhambi juu yetu, kwa kuwa tumefanya ya upumbavu, na kufanya dhambi. Hesabu 12:11

Aaron said to Moses, Oh, my lord, please don't lay sin on us, for that we have done foolishly, and for that we have sinned.

Nakusihi, asiwe kama mmoja aliyekufa, ambaye nyama ya mwili wake nusu imelika hapo atokapo tumbo la mama yake. Hesabu 12:12

Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.

Musa akamlilia Bwana, akasema, Mpoze, Ee Mungu, nakusihi sana. Hesabu 12:13

Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, Heal her, God, I beg you.

Bwana akamwambia Musa, Je! Kama baba yake angalimtemea mate usoni tu, hangaliona aibu muda wa siku saba? Na afungwe nje ya kambi muda wa siku saba, kisha baada ya hayo ataletwa ndani tena. Hesabu 12:14

Yahweh said to Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn't she be ashamed seven days? let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.

Basi Miriamu alifungwa nje ya kambi muda wa siku saba; wala watu hawakusafiri hata Miriamu alipoletwa ndani tena. Hesabu 12:15

Miriam was shut up outside of the camp seven days: and the people didn't travel until Miriam was brought in again.

Baada ya hayo watu wakasafiri kutoka Haserothi, wakapanga kambi katika nyika ya Parani. Hesabu 12:16

Afterward the people traveled from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
