Baada ya hayo Yesu alijidhihirisha tena kwa wanafunzi wake, penye bahari ya Tiberia, naye alijidhihirisha hivi.
Later, by the Sea of Tiberias, Jesus again revealed Himself to the disciples. He made Himself known in this way:

Simoni Petro, na Tomaso aitwaye Pacha, na Nathanaeli wa Kana ya Galilaya, na wana wa Zebedayo, na wengine wawili wa wanafunzi wake, walikuwapo pamoja.
Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.

Simoni Petro aliwaambia, Naenda kuvua samaki. Nao wakamwambia, Sisi nasi tutakwenda nawe. Basi wakaondoka, wakapanda chomboni; ila usiku ule hawakupata kitu.
Simon Peter told them, “I am going fishing.” “We will go with you,” they said. So they went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night.

Hata asubuhi kulipokucha, Yesu alisimama ufuoni; walakini wanafunzi hawakujua ya kuwa ni Yesu.
Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not recognize that it was Jesus.

Basi Yesu akawaambia, Wanangu, mna kitoweo? Wakamjibu, La.
So He called out to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” “No,” they answered.

Akawaambia, Litupeni jarife upande wa kuume wa chombo, nanyi mtapata. Basi wakatupa; wala sasa hawakuweza kulivuta tena kwa sababu ya wingi wa samaki.
He told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it there, and they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish.

Basi yule mwanafunzi ambaye Yesu alimpenda akamwambia Petro, Ndiye Bwana. Naye Simoni Petro, aliposikia ya kwamba ni Bwana, akajifunga vazi lake, (maana alikuwa uchi), akajitupa baharini.
Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it) and jumped into the sea.

Na hao wanafunzi wengine wakaja katika mashua; maana hawakuwa mbali na nchi kavu; ila yapata dhiraa mia mbili; huku wakilikokota lile jarife lenye samaki.
The other disciples came ashore in the boat. They dragged in the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only about a hundred yards.

Basi waliposhuka pwani, wakaona huko moto wa makaa, na juu yake pametiwa samaki, na mkate.
When they landed, they saw a charcoal fire there with fish on it, and some bread.

Yesu akawaambia, Leteni hapa baadhi ya samaki mliowavua sasa hivi.
Jesus told them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.”

Basi Simoni Petro akapanda chomboni, akalivuta jarife pwani, limejaa samaki wakubwa, mia hamsini na watatu; na ijapokuwa ni wengi namna hiyo, jarife halikupasuka.
So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many, the net was not torn.

Yesu akawaambia, Njoni mfungue kinywa. Wala hakuna mtu katika wale wanafunzi aliyethubutu kumwuliza, U nani wewe? Wakijua ya kuwa ni Bwana.
“Come, have breakfast,” Jesus said to them. None of the disciples dared to ask Him, “Who are You?” They knew it was the Lord.

Yesu akaenda akautwaa mkate, akawapa, na samaki vivyo hivyo.
Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and He did the same with the fish.

Hiyo ndiyo mara ya tatu ya Yesu kuonekana na wanafunzi wake baada ya kufufuka katika wafu.
This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after He was raised from the dead.

Basi walipokwisha kula, Yesu akamwambia Simoni Petro, Je! Simoni wa Yohana, wewe wanipenda kuliko hawa? Akamwambia , Naam ,Bwana, wewe wajua kuwa nakupenda. Akamwambia, Lisha wana-kondoo wangu.
When they had finished eating, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus replied, “Feed My lambs.”

Akamwambia tena mara ya pili, Simoni wa Yohana, wanipenda? Akamwambia, Ndiyo, Bwana, wewe wajua kuwa nakupenda. Akamwambia, Chunga kondoo zangu.
Jesus asked a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus told him, “Shepherd My sheep.”

Akamwambia mara ya tatu, Simoni wa Yohana, wanipenda? Petro alihuzunika kwa vile alivyomwambia mara ya tatu, Wanipenda? Akamwambia, Bwana, wewe wajua yote; wewe umetambua ya kuwa nakupenda. Yesu akamwambia, Lisha kondoo zangu.
Jesus asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was deeply hurt that Jesus had asked him a third time, “Do you love Me?” “Lord, You know all things,” he replied. “You know I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

Akasema, Amin, amin, nakuambia, Wakati ulipokuwa kijana, ulikuwa ukijifunga mwenyewe na kwenda utakako; lakini utakapokuwa mzee, utainyosha mikono yako, na mwingine atakufunga na kukuchukua usikotaka.
Truly, truly, I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”

Akasema neno hilo kwa kuonyesha ni kwa mauti gani atakayomtukuza Mungu. Naye akiisha kusema hayo akamwambia, Nifuate.
Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. And after He had said this, He told him, “Follow Me.”

Petro akageuka akamwona yule mwanafunzi aliyependwa na Yesu anafuata; (ndiye huyo aliyeegama kifuani pake wakati wa kula chakula cha jioni, akasema, Bwana, ni nani akusalitiye?)
Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. He was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper to ask, “Lord, who is going to betray You?”

Basi Petro akamwona huyo, akamwambia Yesu, Bwana, na huyu je?
When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”

Yesu akamwambia, Ikiwa nataka huyu akae hata nijapo, imekupasaje wewe? Wewe unifuate mimi.
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

Basi neno hilo lilienea katikati ya ndugu ya kwamba mwanafunzi yule hafi. Walakini Yesu hakumwambia ya kwamba hafi; bali, Ikiwa nataka huyu akae hata nijapo, imekupasaje wewe?
Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. However, Jesus did not say that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?”

Huyu ndiye yule mwanafunzi ayashuhudiaye haya, na aliyeyaandika haya: nasi twajua ya kuwa ushuhuda wake ni kweli.
This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who has written them down. And we know that his testimony is true.
25
Kuna na mambo mengi aliyoyafanya Yesu; ambayo yakiandikwa moja moja, nadhani hata ulimwengu usingetosha kwa vile vitabu vitakavyoandikwa.
There are many more things that Jesus did. If all of them were written down, I suppose that not even the world itself would have space for the books that would be written.
