Basi mfalme Sulemani akawa mfalme juu ya Israeli wote. 1 Wafalme 4:1	King Solomon was king over all Israel.

Yuda na Israeli walikuwa wengi kama mchanga wa pwani kwa wingi, wakila, na kunywa, na kufurahi. 1 Wafalme 4:20	Judah and Israel were many as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.
Sulemani akatawala juu ya falme zote, toka Mto mpaka nchi ya Wafilisti, na hata mpaka wa Misri; walimletea tunu, na kumtumikia Sulemani siku zote za maisha yake. 1 Wafalme 4:21	Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
Na vyakula vya Sulemani vya siku moja vilikuwa kori therathini za unga wa mzuri, na kori sitini za ngano. 1 Wafalme 4:22	Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of meal,

Hekima ya Sulemani ikapita hekima ya wana wote wa mashariki, na hekima zote za Misri. 1 Wafalme 4:30	Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
Kwa kuwa alikuwa na hekima kuliko watu wote; kuliko Ethani Mwezrahi, na Hemani, na Kalkoli, na Darda, wana wa Maholi; zikaenea sifa zake kati ya mataifa yote yaliyozunguka. 1 Wafalme 4:31	For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the nations round about.
Naye akanena mifano elfu tatu, na nyimbo zake zilikuwa elfu moja na tano. 1 Wafalme 4:32	He spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were one thousand five.
Akanena habari za miti tangu mwerezi ulioko Lebanoni hata hisopo umeao ukutani; pia akanena habari za wanyama, na za ndege, na vitambaavyo, na samaki. 1 Wafalme 4:33	He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, and of birds, and of creeping things, and of fish.
Wakaja wa mataifa yote ili waisikie hekima ya Sulemani, toka wafalme wote wa ulimwengu, waliokuwa wamepata habari za hekima yake. 1 Wafalme 4:34	There came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
