Kisha Bwana akanena na Musa, na kumwambia, Mambo ya Walawi 24:1

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Waagize wana wa Israeli kwamba wakuletee mafuta ya zeituni safi ya kupondwa kwa ajili ya ile nuru, ili hiyo taa iwake daima. Mambo ya Walawi 24:2

"Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

Hapo nje ya pazia la ushahidi, ndani ya hema ya kukutania, Haruni ataitengeza tangu jioni hata asubuhi mbele za Bwana daima; ni amri ya milele katika vizazi vyenu. Mambo ya Walawi 24:3

Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

Atazitengeza hizo taa katika kile kinara kilicho safi mbele za Bwana daima. Mambo ya Walawi 24:4

He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before Yahweh continually.

Nawe utatwaa unga mwembamba, na kuoka mikate kumi na miwili ya huo unga; sehemu za kumi mbili za efa, zitakuwa katika mkate mmoja. Mambo ya Walawi 24:5

"You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

Nawe iweke mistari miwili, mikate sita kwa kila mstari, juu ya hiyo meza safi, mbele za Bwana. Mambo ya Walawi 24:6

You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.

Nawe utatia ubani safi juu ya kila mstari, ili uwe ukumbusho kwa hiyo mikate, sadaka ya kusongezwa kwa Bwana kwa moto. Mambo ya Walawi 24:7

You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

Kila siku ya Sabato ataipanga mbele za Bwana daima; ni kwa ajili ya wana wa Israeli, agano la milele. Mambo ya Walawi 24:8

Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.

Nayo itakuwa ya Haruni na wanawe; nao wataila katika mahali patakatifu; kwa sababu kwake ni takatifu sana katika sadaka zisongezwazo kwa Bwana kwa moto, kwa amri ya milele. Mambo ya Walawi 24:9

It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute."

Ikawa mwana wa mwanamke wa Kiisraeli, ambaye babaye alikuwa Mmisri, akatokea kati ya wana wa Israeli; na huyo mwana wa mwanamke wa Kiisraeli, na Mwisraeli mmoja, wakapigana pamoja ndani ya marago; Mambo ya Walawi 24:10

The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

kisha huyo mwana wa mwanamke wa Kiisraeli akalikufuru hilo Jina, na kuapiza; nao wakamleta kwa Musa. Na jina la mamaye alikuwa akiitwa Shelomithi, binti ya Dibri, wa kabila ya Dani. Mambo ya Walawi 24:11

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

Nao wakamtia kifungoni, ili wapate kuambiwa neno litakalotoka kinywani pa Bwana. Mambo ya Walawi 24:12

They put him in custody, until the will of Yahweh should be declared to them.

Na Bwana akasema na Musa, na kumwambia, Mambo ya Walawi 24:13

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Mtoe huyo aliyeapiza nje ya marago; na wale wote waliomsikia na waweke mikono yao kichwani mwake, kisha mkutano wote na wamwue kwa kumpiga kwa mawe. Mambo ya Walawi 24:14

"Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

Nawe nena na wana wa Israeli na kuwaambia, Mtu awaye yote atakayemlaani Mungu wake atachukua dhambi yake. Mambo ya Walawi 24:15

You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

Na yeye atakayelikufuru jina la Bwana hakika atauawa; mkutano wote watamwua kwa kumpiga kwa mawe; kama ni mgeni, kama ni mzalia, hapo atakapolikufuru jina la Bwana atauawa. Mambo ya Walawi 24:16

He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

Na mtu ampigaye mtu hata akafa, lazima atauawa; Mambo ya Walawi 24:17

"'He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

na atakayempiga mnyama hata akafa atalipa; uhai kwa uhai. Mambo ya Walawi 24:18

He who strikes a animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

Na mtu akimtia mwenziwe kilema; vile vile kama alivyofanya, naye atafanyiwa vivyo; Mambo ya Walawi 24:19

If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

jeraha kwa jeraha, jicho kwa jicho, jino kwa jino; vile vile kama alivyomtia mtu kilema, naye atalipwa vivyo. Mambo ya Walawi 24:20

fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.

Na mtu amwuaye mnyama atalipa; na yeye atakayemwua binadamu atauawa. Mambo ya Walawi 24:21

He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

Mtakuwa na sheria moja tu, kwa huyo aliye mgeni, na kwa mzalia; kwa kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana, Mungu wenu. Mambo ya Walawi 24:22

You shall have one kind of law, for the foreigner as well as the native-born: for I am Yahweh your God.'"

Musa akanena na wana wa Israeli, nao wakamtoa huyo aliyeapiza nje ya marago, wakamwua kwa kumpiga kwa mawe. Wana wa Israeli wakafanya kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Musa.

Mambo ya Walawi 24:23

Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
