Lyrics

Inuka Juuu kuriko makovu yako Inuka kwenye majivuu, kwa sababu Huyu ni mdaa wako Mungu atatimiza ahadi zote zako utakumbatia mabadiriko mapya ,

Minyororo inakatika, kuta zinaanguka When Jesus says Yes Alikuwuumba kwa udongo , Akamwanga Damu yake kwa ajili yako Yeye hasemi uongo , ni mwamifu every time x2

Alifungua njia kati ya bahari Na mapito kati ya maji yenye nguvu nyingi Msiyakumbuke mambo ya zamani. Aliitenda jambo jipyaaa Tazama

Leo na Kesho anakujaza furaha Anaweka Maneno katika vitendo Jarah Chochote wanachopanga it doesn’t really Matter USISITE Mwaminiye kwanza Baraka zitafuuata USISITE Ana kujua , Anakukumbuka USISITE Anakutunza ,Anakufahamu USISITE

Kama vile mbingu zilivyo juu kuliko,Dunia hivyo ndivyo asiyeringanishwa na mwanadamu Mungu ni Bwana wa yasiyowezekana Kesi yako sio mkuu Mgongo wake ni mwema na uko daima kukubeba , Nyosha mikono yako, naye atakushika Yeye ni mzazi mwenye rehema , Mkimbilie atakupokeya , Ni yeye tu anayeweza kuponya majeraha yako

Yeye kamwe hashindwi Tuna ushuhuda mwingi , Our Father is the King . Never Be , Never Be Afraid

Alifungua njia kati ya bahari Na mapito kati ya maji yenye nguvu nyingi Msiyakumbuke mambo ya zamani. Aliitenda jambo jipyaaa Tazama

Leo na Kesho anakujaza furaha Anaweka Maneno katika vitendo Jarah Chochote wanachopanga it doesn’t really Matter USISITE Mwaminiye kwanza Baraka zitafuuata USISITE Ana kujua , Anakukumbuka USISITE Anakutunza ,Anakufahamu USISITE

Mipango yake kwako ni njema hawezi kukuacha Yatima he is always there for you USISISITE X 4

Aliitenda jambo jipyaaa Tazama

Leo na Kesho anakujaza furaha Anaweka Maneno katika vitendo Jarah Chochote wanachopanga it doesn’t really Matter USISITE Mwaminiye kwanza Baraka zitafuuata USISITE Ana kujua , Anakukumbuka USISITE Anakutunza ,Anakufahamu USISITE

Meaning & Inspiration

"Alikuwumba kwa udongo, Akamwanga Damu yake kwa ajili yako."

There is a stark, almost brutal physicality to those lines in the latest track from Vestine & Dorcas. It begins with the dust—the Imago Dei marred by the fall—and immediately pivots to the shedding of blood. It does not soften the edges of the human condition. It reminds us that we are creatures formed from the ground, fragile and decaying, yet the object of a deliberate, violent redemptive act.

Too often, modern lyrics treat grace as a light, ethereal feeling. But here, the theology is anchored in the Incarnation and the subsequent Atonement. If we are made of dust, we require more than a gentle whisper to fix us; we require a substitutionary work that addresses the depth of our brokenness. Vestine and Dorcas force the listener to confront the necessity of the Cross—the literal spilling of life to purchase a life that was essentially compost.

The song then transitions into a challenge: "Msiyakumbuke mambo ya zamani." It is a heavy invitation to abandon the past, referencing Isaiah 43:19. But let us be clear: this is not about therapeutic self-help or merely moving on. It is a theological demand. If God is truly doing a "new thing," then dwelling on the old is not just nostalgia—it is a failure to believe in the sovereign act of a God who is currently operating in real-time.

However, I find myself lingering on the tension of the directive "Usisite" (Do not hesitate). There is a pastoral urgency here. We are told the "minyororo inakatika" (chains are breaking) and "kuta zinaanguka" (walls are falling). The lyrics operate with the confidence of a creed, asserting that because God is the "Bwana wa yasiyowezekana" (Lord of the impossible), our hesitation is misplaced.

Yet, as a listener, one must ask: What happens when the walls don't fall? When the "mambo ya zamani" still feel like fresh wounds? The song leans heavily into the goodness of the Father, emphasizing that He cannot leave us as orphans. It is a robust, orthodox assertion of God’s providence. It refuses to let us view our circumstances as final, instead pinning our identity to the fact that the King is the one who opened the sea.

The song captures a specific rhythm of faith—the push and pull between the objective reality of God’s promise and the subjective experience of our own fear. It doesn't offer a philosophical explanation for suffering, but it offers a Person. It invites the listener to move forward not because the path is clear, but because the One who made the path is standing at the end of it. It is a call to align our finite, shaking lives with the immutable, unshifting character of a God who does not lie. It is demanding, perhaps a bit repetitive in its plea, but in that repetition, there is a stubborn refusal to let the listener remain in their doubt.
