About Vestine & Dorcas

Vestine and Dorcas is a Rwandan sisterly gospel duo consisting of Ishimwe Vestine Taricy, born February 2, 2004, and Kamikazi Dorcas, born June 26, 2006. The siblings grew up in Musanze, Rwanda, in a family with four other children. Their mother was a gospel singer, and the duo began their musical journey singing in their local church choir.


They were discovered by Irene Murindahabi and signed to his label, MIE Music, in 2020. The duo is known for performing gospel music and uplifting hymns. Their releases include the songs “Nahawe Ijambo” (2020), “Adonaï” (2021), “Ihema” (2024), “Emmanuel” (2025), “Yebo (Nitawale)” (2025), “Usisite” (2025), and “Kisima” (2026).


In 2025, Vestine and Dorcas embarked on their debut Canadian tour, marking an expansion of their ministry beyond Rwanda. The duo continues to offer gospel music through their work with MIE Music.
