This song comes from Majesty's Music, a Kenyan gospel group, and it's built around 1 Kings 18:36—Elijah's prayer before the showdown on Mount Carmel. The main line, repeated over and over, is "Naijulikane kwamba Yupo Mungu wa Eliya"—"Let it be known that the God of Elijah is here."
That's a bold claim. Elijah's God showed up with fire, consumed a water-soaked sacrifice, and proved Himself against four hundred prophets of Baal.
