Meaning & Inspiration
“Akanam Nkwe” by Minister GUC is a song of thanks for God’s help, sung in English with refrains in another language. The first verse names Lord Jesus as the one who saves, helps, and lifts, and says He keeps doing good and breaking new ground. The chorus says that what He has done, nobody else can do.
The second verse is one of amazement: the singer does not understand why God keeps blessing, loving, helping, and showing love. The bridge answers that it must be true love, the love that makes Him do what He does.
