About Frank Edwards
Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, born July 22, 1990, in Enugu State, Nigeria, is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter, recording artist, and producer. He began singing at age ten and taught himself to play the piano as a child, laying the foundation for a career in gospel music. Edwards is a member of the Christ Embassy Church and the LoveWorld Music Ministry, and he served as a member of the Presidential band of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
In 2008, Edwards released his debut album, The Definition, marking the start of a steadily growing catalog. He followed with albums including Angels on the Runway (2010), Unlimited (2011), Tagjam (2011), and Frankincense. His songs “Mma Mma” and “Oghene Doh” became notable entries in his discography. In 2026, he released the EP Heart of Worship. Beyond his own releases, Edwards founded and owns the record label Rocktown Records.
His work has earned recognition within the Nigerian gospel music scene. He won Best Male Vocalist and Best Hit Single at the LoveWorld Awards, as well as Song of the Year at the Nigerian Gospel Music Awards. Through his music and his role in the Christ Embassy community, Frank Edwards has established himself as a consistent voice in contemporary gospel music.
