Lyrics

Great is Your faithfulness, O God;
You wrestle with the restless heart.
You lead us by still waters into mercy,
And nothing can keep us apart.

So, remember Your people,
Remember Your children,
Remember Your promise, O God.

Your grace is enough,
Your grace is enough,
Your grace is enough for me.

Great is Your love and justice, God of Jacob;
You use the weak to lead the strong.
You lead us in the song of Your salvation,
And all Your people sing along.

Your grace is enough,
Heaven reaching down to us.
Your grace is enough for me.
God, I see Your grace is enough;
I'm covered in Your love.
Your grace is enough for me, for me.

Meaning & Inspiration

Great Is Your Faithfulness describes God as steadfast toward restless and dependent people. Images of still waters and mercy recall the care of a shepherd, while the repeated plea to remember his people and promise gives the verses the language of covenant trust. The central confession, “Your grace is enough,” answers human weakness with confidence in God’s provision rather than confidence in personal strength.

The second verse joins love with justice and notes that God can use the weak to lead the strong. That theme closely aligns with Paul’s teaching that divine strength is displayed through weakness. Salvation becomes a song shared by God’s people, and the closing lines picture grace reaching down, covering the singer in divine love. Across each repetition, grace is presented as active and sufficient: it guides, gathers, saves, and holds people near to God when their own ability is inadequate.
