About David Wonder
David Junior Odera, known professionally as David Wonder, is a Kenyan gospel singer and songwriter. He began his music career performing with a band at Our Spirit of Faith Pentecostal church in Baba Dogo. He was mentored by the Kenyan artist Bahati and was previously signed to EMB Records. Before music, Wonder worked as a beautician.
His recorded catalog includes songs such as “Ndogo Ndogo” featuring Bahati, “Washangaze,” “Mgani,” “Kosa,” “Ataonekana” with Nimo Gachuiri, “Ni Wewe” with Moji Shortbabaa, “Za Baba” with Mr Seed, and “Kama Jana.”
In 2025, David Wonder publicly disclosed that he had been battling a medical condition called Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), which impacted his ability to record and perform for several years. He has continued to release gospel music as an independent artist.
