Lyrics
Verse 1
Hay un gran rey entre nosotros
Que todos lo reciban hoy
Habitará en la alabanza
Habrá perdón y gracia alrededor
Chorus
Verse 3
No tardará, Él viene pronto
Nuestro dolor se llevará
A nuestro hogar regresaremos
Su rostro al fin podremos contemplar
Chorus
Toda honra pertenece a Tí por siempre
Santo, santo por la eternidad
Tu nombre es sobre todo nombre
Oh Jesus, rey sobre todo rey

Meaning & Inspiration
This Spanish-language worship song is a version of the English song "There Is a King," and it proclaims Jesus as a king present among His people. The first verse invites everyone to receive Him and says that He "habitará en la alabanza," meaning He dwells in praise, with forgiveness and grace all around.
The chorus draws on the apostle Paul's teaching about a name above every name. Burdens fade in His presence, and every prize is laid at His feet. The second verse turns to the Lamb who is worthy, who rose from the dead and defeated the grave.
The final verse looks ahead to His return, the end of sorrow, and the hope of seeing His face. The last chorus shifts from speaking about Him to speaking directly to Him, with "Santo, santo por la eternidad," which echoes the worship scenes in the book of Revelation.
