About Kim Walker-Smith
Kim Walker-Smith is an American singer, songwriter, and worship leader known for her foundational role in the Jesus Culture movement and for serving as a worship pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California. Born Kimberlee Dawn Walker on December 19, 1981, she grew into her musical calling early, winning a vocal competition titled “So You Want to Be a Star” in 2005. She later graduated from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry before launching a solo career.
Walker-Smith released her first solo album, Here Is My Song, in 2008. She continued to build her discography with the album Still Believe (2013) and the collaborative project Home (2013) with her husband, worship leader Skyler Smith, whom she married in 2009. In 2017, her solo album On My Side reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. Her work with Jesus Culture also earned recognition: the Jesus Culture album Living With a Fire (2018) received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
In addition to her studio albums, Walker-Smith has been a consistent vocal contributor to live worship albums with the Jesus Culture band. Later releases include the Revival Nights EP (2021) and the album Trample (2024). Through her music and leadership in worship ministry, she has remained closely associated with the Jesus Culture movement and the worship community at Bethel Church.
