Meaning & Inspiration
This is a short song of devotion sung straight to Jesus. It starts from the fact of being loved, "Always, You have loved me," and answers with an offering of the whole heart: "All of my heart it's Yours." The chorus is only two lines, "Jesus, Beautiful Savior" and "I am in love with You," which keeps the focus on the name and on the singer's response.
The tag extends the same sentiment with "How I love You, Lord" and "You'll always have my heart," and the outro closes with "All of my heart, Lord with all my strength." That phrasing echoes the commandment to love God with heart and strength, which makes the song a personal answer to a very old instruction.
Mark 12:30 repeats that commandment, 1 John 4:19 says that love for God follows from being loved first, and Psalm 27:4 speaks of gazing on the beauty of the Lord. Together they fit the picture of a Savior who is both loving and beautiful.
