“We Wait for You (Shekinah Glory)” is a live worship recording by Forerunner Music with Jaye Thomas and Cory Asbury, built on patient waiting. It opens with “We wait for You,” asking the Lord to “walk in the room,” and the chorus says “Here we are, standing in Your presence,” then asks for Shekinah glory to come down.
The verses move from waiting to hunger. “Release the fullness of Your Spirit” is the request, and the second verse repeats “You move and we want more, You speak and we want more.” The bridge reduces the words to “we want more” and “more of Your Spirit,” which gives the recording its sense of a gathered congregation leaning toward God’s presence.
