Rehema Simfukwe

Rehema Simfukwe is a Tanzanian gospel singer and worship leader. Born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, she began her musical journey during her teenage years. Her contemporary gospel music often incorporates Swahili lyrics, and her ministry is noted for themes of faith, hope, and the power of prayer.

Simfukwe’s recorded catalog includes songs such as “Chanzo,” “Ndio,” “Neema Yako,” and “Nisaidie Bwana.” She has also released several EPs: “Wakati,” “Maji Jangwani,” “Damu Yako” (featuring Neema Gospel Choir), and “Niko Imara.”

In 2023, she was nominated for Female Singer of the Year at the Sauti Awards. Outside of music, Simfukwe has been involved in advocacy for children with disabilities, an effort inspired by her personal experience as a parent.
