Basi, nikainua macho yangu tena, nikaona, na tazama, gombo la chuo lirukalo.
Again I lifted up my eyes and saw before me a flying scroll.

Akaniuliza, Unaona nini? Nikajibu, Naona gombo la chuo lirukalo; na urefu wake ni dhiraa ishirini, na upana wake dhiraa kumi.
“What do you see?” asked the angel. “I see a flying scroll,” I replied, “twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.”

Ndipo akaniambia, Hii ndiyo laana itokayo kwenda juu ya uso wa nchi yote; maana kwa hiyo kila aibaye atatolewa kama ilivyo upande mmoja, na kwa hiyo kila aapaye atatolewa kama ilivyo upande wa pili.
Then he told me, “This is the curse that is going out over the face of all the land, for according to one side of the scroll, every thief will be removed; and according to the other side, every perjurer will be removed.

Nitaituma itokee, asema Bwana wa majeshi, nayo itaingia katika nyumba ya mwivi, na katika nyumba yake yeye aapaye kwa uongo kwa jina langu; nayo itakaa katikati ya nyumba yake, na kuiteketeza, pamoja na boriti zake na mawe yake.
I will send it out, declares the LORD of Hosts, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by My name. It will remain inside his house and destroy it, down to its timbers and stones.”

Ndipo yule malaika aliyesema nami akatokea, akaniambia, Inua macho yako sasa, uone ni kitu gani kitokeacho.
Then the angel who was speaking with me came forward and told me, “Now lift up your eyes and see what is approaching.”

Nikasema, Ni kitu gani? Akasema, Kitu hiki ni efa itokeayo. Tena akasema, Huu ndio uovu wao katika nchi hii yote;
“What is it?” I asked. And he replied, “A measuring basket is going forth.” Then he continued, “This is their iniquity in all the land.”

na tazama, talanta ya risasi iliinuliwa; na tazama, mwanamke akaaye katikati ya hiyo efa.
And behold, the cover of lead was raised, and there was a woman sitting inside the basket.

Akasema, Huyu ni Uovu; akamtupa chini katikati ya ile efa; akalitupa lile jiwe la risasi juu ya mdomo wa ile efa.
“This is Wickedness,” he said. And he shoved her down into the basket, pushing down the lead cover over its opening.

Ndipo nikainua macho yangu, nikaona, na tazama, wanawake wawili walitokea, nao upepo ulikuwa katika mabawa yao; na mabawa yao yalikuwa kama mabawa ya korongo; wakaiinua ile efa kati ya dunia na mbingu.
Then I lifted up my eyes and saw two women approaching, with the wind in their wings. Their wings were like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.

Ndipo nikamwambia yule malaika aliyesema nami, Hawa wanaipeleka wapi efa hii?
“Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel who was speaking with me.

Akaniambia, Wanakwenda kumjengea nyumba katika nchi ya Shinari; tena ikiisha kutengenezwa, atawekwa huko mahali pake mwenyewe.
“To build a house for it in the land of Shinar,” he told me. “And when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its pedestal.”
