| Katika siku hiyo watu wa nyumba ya Daudi, na wenyeji wa Yerusalemu, watafunguliwa chemchemi kwa dhambi na kwa unajisi. Zekaria 13:1 |
"In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. |
| Kisha itakuwa katika siku hiyo, asema Bwana wa majeshi, nitakatilia mbali majina ya sanamu katika nchi, yasikumbukwe tena; pia nitawafukuza manabii, na roho ya uchafu, watoke katika nchi. Zekaria 13:2 |
It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they will no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the spirit of impurity to pass out of the land. |
| Tena itakuwa ya kwamba, mtu awaye yote atakapotoa unabii, basi baba yake na mama yake waliomzaa watamwambia, Hutaishi; kwa maana unanena maneno ya uongo kwa jina la Bwana; na baba yake na mama yake waliomzaa watamtumbua atoapo unabii. Zekaria 13:3 |
It will happen that, when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, 'You must die, because you speak lies in the name of Yahweh;' and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies. |

It will happen in that day, that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision, when he prophesies; neither will they wear a hairy mantle to deceive: |
| bali atasema, Mimi si nabii kamwe; mimi ni mkulima wa nchi; kwa maana nalifanywa mtumwa tokea ujana wangu. Zekaria 13:5 |
but he will say, 'I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.' |
| Na mtu atamwambia, Je! Jeraha hizi ulizo nazo kati ya mikono yako ni nini? Naye atajibu, Ni jeraha nilizotiwa katika nyumba ya rafiki zangu. Zekaria 13:6 |
One will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.' |
| Amka, Ee upanga, juu ya mchungaji wangu, na juu ya mtu aliye mwenzangu, asema Bwana wa majeshi; mpige mchungaji, nao kondoo watatawanyika; nami nitaugeuza mkono wangu juu ya wadogo. Zekaria 13:7 |
"Awake, sword, against my shepherd, And against the man who is close to me," says Yahweh of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; And I will turn my hand against the little ones. |
| Hata itakuwa, ya kwamba katika nchi yote mafungu mawili yatakatiliwa mbali, nao watakufa, asema Bwana; lakini fungu la tatu litabaki humo. Zekaria 13:8 |
It shall happen that in all the land," says Yahweh, Two parts in it will be cut off and die; But the third will be left in it. |
| Nami nitalileta fungu lile la tatu na kulipitisha kati ya moto, nami nitawasafisha kama fedha isafishwavyo, nami nitawajaribu kama dhahabu ijaribiwavyo; wataliitia jina langu, nami nitawasikia; mimi nitasema, Watu hawa ndio wangu; nao watasema, Bwana ndiye Mungu wangu. Zekaria 13:9 |
I will bring the third part into the fire, And will refine them as silver is refined, And will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, 'It is my people;' And they will say, 'Yahweh is my God.'" |
