“My Soul Says Yes” by Sonnie Badu is a prayer of surrender sung as a plain, repeated answer to God. The chorus says the soul says yes to God’s will, and the verses pledge to follow where He leads and to answer when He calls. A request sits in the middle: “teach me how to know Your ways.”
