Proclaim Music - We Are Free - every curse lifted every chain broken Lyrics

We Are Free builds its message from two concise declarations: every curse is lifted, and every chain is broken. The repeated lines portray deliverance as an accomplished work associated directly with the name of Jesus. Rather than describing a gradual escape through human effort, the song locates freedom in Christ and turns that confession into communal praise. Its limited vocabulary and recurring phrases make the central claim easy to carry as a worship refrain.

The language closely reflects biblical passages that describe the Son setting people free and Christ canceling the record that stood against them. References to broken chains can include spiritual bondage, condemnation, and the power of sin without requiring the lyric to define one specific struggle. The repeated phrase declaring freedom in the name of Jesus gives the song both its answer and its focus. As a short worship piece, it emphasizes confidence in Christ rather than fear of whatever once held a person captive.
