About Proclaim Music

Proclaim Music is a gospel and worship music ministry based at the Miracle Center Cathedral in Kampala, Uganda. Formed in 2012, the collective operates under the leadership of Robert Kayanja Ministries and includes a children’s ministry component called Proclaim Kids. The group’s mission is described as “The Need to Raise a Generation” to stand for Jesus.

Musically, Proclaim Music is known for a contemporary, organic, and soulful style that blends gospel with elements of R&B, pop, and dance. Their recorded catalog includes several live albums: Proclaim Worship Experience (Awesome God) (2015), The Ultimate Worship (2018), Unlocked (A New Dawn) [Live] (2021), and Thus Far (Live) (2023). Notable songs from these releases include “Like a Bird (Live),” “It’s Gonna Be Alright (Live),” and “Jesus Reigns Forever (Live).” In 2025, they released the single “Old Church Praise (Live).”

Beyond recordings, the ministry hosts annual events such as the Proclaim Worship Experience and Proclaim Kids’ Sunday. It also runs the Proclaim Academy, which provides skills training for children and teenagers, furthering its commitment to equipping a new generation of believers.
