About Chandler Moore
Chandler Moore is a worship leader, singer, and songwriter in the Christian and gospel music industry. Born Chandler David Moore on March 21, 1995, in Charleston, South Carolina, he is the son of Bishop Brian David Moore and Elder Jametta Chandler Moore. He began his career as a background vocalist for gospel artists Travis Greene and Tye Tribbett and later served as a music director at a church in his hometown.
Moore released his debut solo album, Feelings, in 2020. He was a member of the collective Maverick City Music from 2019 to 2025, contributing to a number of widely heard songs. His catalog includes the songs “Never Runs Out” (2014), “Man of Your Word” (2020), “Voice of God” (2020), “Jireh” (2021), “Wait on You” (2021), “Lead Me On” (2024), and “God I’m Just Grateful” (2025). Beyond his work with Maverick City Music, Moore has collaborated with artists including Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly, and Elevation Worship.
Moore has also received notable recognition. Old Church Basement, a collaborative album with Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music, won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. His single “Lead Me On” reached No. 1 on the Gospel Airplay Chart, and his live recording Chandler Moore: Live in Los Angeles reached No. 1 on the Top Gospel Albums chart. Moore married Hannah Poole in 2021.
