Lyrics
There's nothing worth more
That can ever come close
Nothing can compare
You're our living hope
Your Presence Lord
I've tasted and seen
of the sweetest of Loves
Where my heart becomes free
and my shame is undone
Your Presence Lord
Holy Spirit You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your Glory God
is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your Presence Lord X3
Your Presence Lord X3
Let us become more aware of Your Presence
Let us experience the Glory of Your Goodness X4
Glory of Your Goodness X2
We wanna see Your Glory
We wanna see Your Power
We wanna see Your Spirit
Move in us X2
Holy Spirit
Move in us X2
Have Your Way
Have Your Way Oh Jesus X14
Do what You want to
I belong to You X3
Do what You want to
Have Your Way
Have Your Way Oh Jesus X4
We belong to You X2
We're children of the Most High
We belong to You
We're sons and daughters of the Most High
We belong to You
Have Your Way Oh Jesus
Like a rushing wind
Jesus breathe within
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me
Like a mighty storm
Stir within my soul
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me
Like a rushing wind
Jesus breathe within
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me
Like a mighty storm
Stir within my soul
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me
I surrender
I surrender
I wanna know You more
I wanna know You more X4
You can move everything out of the way
Whatever's in the way
of me getting to know You more
You can move and You can take it
You can take it
You can have it
I surrender
I surrender
I wanna know You more
I wanna know You more X3

Meaning & Inspiration
“Holy Spirit & I Surrender” joins two related prayers: a welcome for the Holy Spirit’s presence and a complete yielding of the self to Jesus. The first movement speaks of God as the believer’s living hope and asks for awareness of divine goodness. Its images of flooding, wind, breath, and storm convey a longing for God to fill and transform the inner life.
The later movement turns that longing into surrender. Repeated pleas for the Lord to have his way place desire, obstacles, and identity under Christ’s authority. The language of wind and breath recalls Acts 2:2–4, where the Spirit comes with the sound of a rushing wind, while the appeal to be filled corresponds with Ephesians 5:18. The affirmation of belonging to God also reflects the New Testament’s description of believers as God’s children. Together, these themes make the medley a sustained prayer for presence, cleansing, freedom, and closer fellowship with Christ.
