Lyrics
Verse (x2)
Let it rise let it rise
From my ankle to my knees
From my knees to my waist
Till I get overwhelmed
Chorus
We need more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
We need more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
We need more
We need more
Bridge
Right now(Tongues)... There is a hunger in the land
And men are hungry
There is a hunger in the land
The river will flow to the dry lands
And the rivers will come alive
Let it rise let it rise
From my ankle to my knees
From my knees to my waist
Till I get overwhelmed
Let it rise
Let it rise let it rise (oh oh oh)From my ankle to my knees
Yeaaaaah
From my knees to my waist
Till I get overwhelmed
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
We need more
We need more
Right now(Tongues)We need more
We need more
Right now
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
We need more
We need more
Right now
Do you need more
We need more
We need more
Right now(Tongues)Where are the hungry people
Prophecy has come upon us
And the rivers have come alive
The trees have come alive
The desert has seen water
Something is about to erupt(Tongues)... Ehyaaaaaa
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
The young Generation
The new breeds in Christ
We need more
We need more
Right now
The mountain of the Lord shall be established
We need more
We need more
Right now
Above every other mountain and the zeal of the Lord shall consume the world
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
More, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more
We need more
We need more
Right now
There's a river flowing
There's a river flowing
Can't you see it already
There's a river flowing
Can I hear you say(Tongues)... Some of you it's at the ankle level
Some of you it's at the waist region now
Some of you it has overwhelmed you
Now the mountain of influence
Is going to be taken over by the children of God(Tongues).... This river is alive
There's a river flowing(Tongues)... Jesus.. See what is happening already(Tongues)... The desire of the sons of men
Are coming alive again
Hunger in the land
Hunger for what Jesus can give
Fresh unction
New mantles falling upon people(Tongues)... This river
This river has life
Now begin to swim
Begin to swim in this river
You can no longer walk in this river
All you need to do is to swim inside

Meaning & Inspiration
“More” by Minister GUC is a live worship ministration built on the picture of a rising river. The opening lines ask for the water to rise from the ankle to the knees and from the knees to the waist, until the singer is overwhelmed. The refrain then repeats “We need more” many times as a prayer of hunger for God.
Between the sung parts, the leader speaks over the room about hunger in the land, rivers coming alive in dry places and the mountain of the Lord being established above other mountains. A later call tells the congregation to stop walking in the river and begin to swim in it.
The imagery is close to Ezekiel 47:3-5, Isaiah 2:2 and John 7:38, on water rising from the ankles to the waist, the mountain of the Lord and rivers of living water. The track is long, repeated and spoken in parts, so it reads as a service moment more than a fixed song.
