Keep Praying is a song of encouragement to persevere in prayer. The first verse remembers a father praying and a mother singing as the reason the singer is still standing, and says that prayer was taught as something God answers, which He did. The chorus gives the central line, "Every prayer today is a seed for tomorrow," and says that holding on to faith brings blessing, calling the singers living proof of what holding on can do.
