Meaning & Inspiration
“He Won’t Fail” by Todd Galberth and Maverick City Music is a worship song of reassurance. The first verse lists problems, pain, trouble, burdens, cares, and struggles, and each time the line is “You can give it to Jesus.” This is close to 1 Peter 5:7 and Psalm 55:22.
The chorus is a plain, repeated promise: “He won’t fail, no He won’t leave you.” It echoes Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5, which say God will not fail or forsake His people.
The bridge turns personal: “I’ve seen it with my own eyes, I’ve seen it in my own life, He keeps every promise, I’ll never be forsaken.” The short tag repeats those words. The song moves from an invitation to give burdens to Jesus, to a testimony that He is faithful, and uses repetition for congregational singing.
