Lyrics
There have been more times
Than I care to admit
When I trusted in what I could do
So assured in my heart
That my strength was enough
Instead of depending on You
But like a child who has fallen
Fallen along the way
I climbed to my knees
And I ask of You today
Oh, give me a childlike faith
Trusting in You alone
Believing each promise
Oh, give me a childlike faith
With a heart so pure
And a love that is faithful and true
Give me a childlike faith
There will still be days
When I pray through the night
And I'll question the answers You give
Let my heart find its way
To the days of my youth
And remember how faithful You've been
With a sureness that could only
Come from above
I'll rest in Your mercy
And trust in Your love
Oh, give me a childlike faith
Trusting in You alone
Believing each promise
Oh, give me a childlike faith
With a heart so pure
And a love that is faithful and true
Give me a childlike faith
Oh, give me a childlike faith
Give me a childlike faith
Trusting in You alone
Believing each promise
Oh, give me a childlike faith
With a heart so pure
And a love that is faithful and true
Give me a child...
Give me a childlike faith
Trusting in You alone
Believing each promise
Oh, give me a childlike faith
With a heart so pure
And a love that is faithful and true
Give me a childlike faith
A childlike faith yeah
A childlike faith, yeah
My faith looks up to Thee
