It was in the 1980s,
At the end of ages,
I saw the people on the earth,
The turmoil, fear and doubt.
I could hear the children crying,
Could see the world was dying,
In sin and darkness and oppression,
While the evil one.
Then I saw another angel in the sky,
Proclaiming the eternal gospel,
Saying in a loud voice,
"Fear God and give Him glory!"
"For the time has come for His judgment."
Ooh, ooh ooh.
As the Christians loved each other,
The Word went forth in power,
The angel in the sky proclaimed the everlasting truth.
In the midst of strife on earth,
Multitudes received new birth,
The church of Jesus stood triumphant,
In His mighty Name.
Yes, I saw another angel in the sky,
Proclaiming the eternal gospel,
Saying in a loud voice,
