Meaning & Inspiration
“All the Glory” by Evie is a short song of praise that insists glory belongs to the Lord alone. The first verse says people are nothing in themselves, yet God chooses to use them as human instruments in His plan, and that those instruments must never glorify themselves. The chorus states it plainly: only He is worthy of praise, and no one on earth should take glory for himself.
The second verse turns to questions about readiness. It asks whether the singer is willing to obey when God urges them to go, to be nothing but a servant of the cross, and to stay faithful in times of trial and hardship or when shining from the top. The last question asks about laying down one’s life for Him.
