Lyrics
Intro:
This is for the saints,
a message for the saints,
this is for the saints.
Chorus 1:
Why can't I wait on the Lord,
why can't I wait on Jesus?
Job waited, tell me why;
if it takes all day, all night,
I'll wait on the Lord.
Verse 1:
The day is dim, the situation critical,
my chances slim, but I won't go getting all analytical,
God made me a promise and His word is true,
If you trust in God like me,
He'll do the same for you.
Bridge:
When it gets right down to it,
seems all hope is gone;
don't give up, don't give in,
remember this song and ask yourself the question?
Chorus
Verse 2:
Job was the man, he was sick so long,
lost everything he had, flesh fell from his bones.
God made me a promise and His word is true,
if you trust in Him like me,
He'll do the same for you.

Chorus 1
Chorus 2:
They that wait shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up of wings as eagles.
They shall run and never get weary,
they shall walk and not faint.
Vamp 1:
I'm gonna wait,
I'm gonna wait,
I'm.
Vamp 2:
I'm gonna wait,
I'm gonna wait on the Lord.
I'm gonna wait,
I'm gonna wait on Jesus.
I'm gonna wait,
I'm gonna wait on the Lord;
if it takes all day, all night,
I'll wait on the Lord.
Ending:
Wait.
