“I Choose Me” by Delana Hope is a song about self-worth and healing after painful relationships, set within a trust in God. The first verse describes reaching a point of no longer being concerned about people who were never concerned about the singer, and walking a lonely road that God uses to grow her. The pre-chorus speaks of stepping into a new chapter and choosing what heals over what hurts.
