Solomon Mukubwa

Solomon Mukubwa is a Congolese-born gospel musician and evangelist who relocated to Kenya in 2005. He began his musical journey at the age of eight and was later mentored by the late gospel artist Angela Chibalonza. Mukubwa is a pastor, having been ordained at the Maximum Miracle Centre in Nairobi, and he has carried out his gospel music ministry in settings that include clubs and bars as a form of outreach.

Mukubwa lost his left arm to amputation at age twelve, a challenge he has navigated throughout his life and career. His discography includes albums such as Sijaona Rafiki Kama Yesu (2003), Mungu Mwenye Nguvu (2005), and Utukufu wa Mungu (2012). Among his recorded songs are “Mfalme wa Amani,” “Mungu Mwenye Nguvu,” “Sijaona Rafiki Kama Yesu,” “Nimewasamehe Wote,” “Mkono wa Bwana,” “Tabia Haina Dawa,” and “Siku Moja.”

In recognition of his work, the song “Mfalme wa Amani” won three awards in Tanzania. Mukubwa continues to be known for his gospel music ministry and his evangelistic efforts in Kenya.
