About Judikay
Judikay, born Judith Kanayo on October 26, 1994, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. A native of Oshimili South, Delta State, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Redeemer’s University in Ede, Osun State. Her music career began in the church, where she sang as a chorister at the Christian Pentecostal Mission. She later gained professional experience as a backup vocalist for gospel artist Florocka.
Judikay released her debut single, “Nobody Else,” in 2013. She gained significant attention in 2019 with the release of the single “More Than Gold.” That same year, she released the album Man of Galilee, which included songs such as “Capable God” and “Song of Angels (Ndi Mo Zi).” Her second album, From This Heart, followed in 2022, featuring tracks like “Mudiana” and “Your Grace.”
Her work has earned recognition in the gospel music industry. At the 2020 Maranatha Awards, she won Best Breakthrough Female Minister, and she also received the Breakthrough Artiste of Excellence award at the AGMMA. She was honored with a Boomplay Plaque after achieving 50 million streams on the platform.
Judikay is the founder of 1026 Enterprise. She is married to Pastor Anselem Ikechukwu Opara.
