“Expect Impossible” builds its confession of faith from biblical accounts of Christ’s authority. Walking on water, turning water into wine, healing a person with leprosy, and restoring through a touch all serve as evidence that ordinary limits do not restrict God. The chorus emphasizes God’s freedom, power, and control rather than presenting a miracle as something owed. Its claim that God can do more than anyone can ask, think, or imagine closely echoes Ephesians 3:20.
